  1. Here are some pictures from my trim repair, I hope this will help others to understand at least part of the mechanicals. If you have an understanding of hydraulics, it's a pretty basic little pump. If not, I would hire someone. Something that is very note worthy, knowing what to ask for, is half the battle. There are a couple small springs that go behind the needle valves, not shown. Shown one badly worn needle valve that allowed pressure to bleed off. Good luck
  2. I understand, I repaired the valves on mine. Mine was drifting down though, so it's probably a different valve. I didn't realize that there was a detent valve for impact, that's good to know. Thank you again
  3. Its like mushroom hunting
  4. Why do they crack? Water contamination? Mine is the same model or very near it 2004 merc 75hp 2 stroke
  5. My daughter has found some near Anderson Mo. She is good at it.
  6. I just cut a large choke cherry, it's dry and split, I am contemplating cutting another. This one was over 24" at the base. I have used some of it myself. Make an offer, if you want some. It can be picked up near Carthage Mo. The cash will go to my grandson who helped me split it. Most sticks are between 16 and 18 inches long Thanks Dan 417 669 8872 I'm on dayshift for the next 2 weeks. Text is probably best.

  10. Yum makes a small craw I use on the creek alot.
  11. Question: I have been thinking I would throw a bait or 3 at some walleye, below the dam, maybe from a kayak or from the bank, so the question is, am I going to have to fight my way through a crowd of people or is it relatively quiet around the 1st week of February? ( barring any flooding) Thanks it's a pretty fair drive for me, so a little intell' would be great.
  12. I like to use a dropshot with minnows, and it is very snag resistant, even in heavy cover.
  13. I have used a refurbished elite 7 for around 10yrs, I still have and like it. Not sure if they are all that good
  14. Ok I thought we might be able to split the cost on the gen 2, 8 you keep the ducer, and lss2, I keep the head unit. I understand your need now, thanks.
  15. Maybe you could buy the 8 gen 2 listed above and I will buy the head unit.
  16. We have rented a house in the country for several years, I have wanted to build these simple feeders for years, now that we have a place, I finally did it. It took 10 minutes to make one, we have spent hours watching these birds. Who needs a TV?
  17. Thank you ! We had a spider plant hanging beside our front door one year, a wren decided it would be a good place to nest, she was very tolerant of us, even as she raised her young. They have been my favorite ever since.
  18. My wife had to have a spur taken off from behind her Achilles tendon, so she has been taking a ton of pictures. I wipped up a couple simple suet feeders, the birds love them! I guess I'm old but I like the feeders too. All pictures where taken January 1 and 2. Happy New Year to all ! There is about 500 of these, this is just a sample. I like the wrens the best.
  19. Does anyone know of a good person to install carpet in my old tracker v 17, maybe some minor deck repair. I live near Carthage Mo. Thanks
