  1. Very nice!
  2. Well it should make launching at campbell point easier๐Ÿ˜€. One year after conditions like these subsided there was a bunch of people swimming right behind the out house, there was still a visible high water line above the door knob, yuck !๐Ÿคฎ
  3. My family bought this trip as a Christmas gift. I met the Guide on Kings river at his slip at 6am. The river was flooded I was worried that the conditions and debris would have an adverse affect on our fishing. It was a blast, I would recommend it ! We caught numbers, I lost count at 20, Sean said about 60, we doubled up a couple times, and several came unbuttoned at the boat. https://www.nicofishing.com/ https://www.facebook.com/SNicodemus22/ This is the Table Rock fishing intel report. Table Rock Lake Fishing Report โ€“ June 3, 2025 What a difference a day makes! After a tough outing yesterday, today turned into one of those days you dream about. My client Dan and I hit a river flat adjacent to a pocket, and the bass were fired up and chasing shad in about 16 feet of water. We went to work with the Jewel Pee Wee Football Jig and absolutely put on a clinic. We stayed on that spot for about an hour and a half, pulling quality fish one after another. From there, we moved to a gravel point, and the bite didnโ€™t slow down โ€” same pattern, same jig, same results. By early afternoon, we shifted to the main lake, where the action tapered off a bit. The bite got tougher, but the bass still wanted that Pee Wee jig over everything else we threw. We fished depths from 16 to 22 feet, and while other baits got ignored, the jig kept getting bit. ๐ŸŽฏ Pattern summary: Primary bait: Jewel Pee Wee Football Jig Depths: 16โ€“22 feet Areas: River flats, gravel points, main lake structure Key factor: Bass actively chasing shad If youโ€™re heading out, keep it simple and stay confident in the jig bite โ€” itโ€™s still the deal right now.
  4. I try really hard to talk about things that I am currently involved in, and less about things I use to do. And I try to not talk about my infirmities. I hope I can keep experiencing things. It's funny how fishing talk leads us down these roads๐Ÿค”
  5. Climate change due to the increase in lithium battery production.
  6. That sounds great considering the deal I got for these new rods, I throw left hand casters, so I don't have to switch hands, or I would take you up on it. Not self serving at all, I don't think you are that guy.
  7. https://www.wired2fish.com/tackle-reviews/lews-team-pro-sp-speed-spool-casting-reel-review This one seems nice.
  8. I own two Lew's, I bought for around 100 I like them pretty well.
  9. I have been doing a little reading on the BFS thing, due to some new rods that I have been gifted and one I own but never could find a reel to match it. The main difference I see in the reels is the spool, it looks to be very light like 6g or so and low volume. To add to all this I would be considered a beginner in the bait casting world by most of you, It is still not intuitive like the spinning tackle I have grown up with. I would be interested in another perspective. Thanks
  10. Baxter is definitely walleye habitat. I know they can be about anywhere but there are some areas near baxter that meet the criteria for walleye, at least in my opinion. I have even caught them under the wake boats and tubers. Nice report Bill
  11. I bet the boat ramp, cafe, and the tackle store is full everyday.
  12. Go north, look at alumiweld, kingfisher, and the like. If I can swing it I really like kingfisher, G3 has an all weld with aluminum consoles too.
  13. Well I may have to give fluorocarbon another shot. I hate changing line all the time. I love off shore fishing as well.๐Ÿค” What size fluorocarbon do you all recommend for an all around casting set up? My spinners are going to stay with braid for sure.
  14. How was the sonar? Normal or was it a lesser version? Thanks for the real world review.
  15. This has always been a good color for me this time of year, in size #7 blue tiger flicker shad.
  16. It never really said anything about proof, but I guess in a small community the perpetrator was obvious? Interesting story.
  17. Yeah I'm sorry I should have been more specific, the reviews are for poor delivery times and failure to communicate with clients, not quality. You did mention a lengthy wait.
  18. If you look up Northfork composites they have terrible reviews, some of the worst I've seen.
  19. That might make a sweet little jet for the river, (you would have to build a transom) I sure like that gen of yamaha, I had skeeter with one of those it ran flawlessly.
