  1. From what i understand the fish are on their beds or making beds in the same places they are just deeper. There is some green goo at certain depths, i did better when i go out just past it. You will see when you get there, a spoon finds all the goo😁. Good luck to you. Hope to see some pics.
  2. Yes i really thought about a video yesterday, i hate editing😲 it takes forever. The walleye was in about 24 ft cruising around over a rocking point, the white bass were 12ft in the pole timber working bait fish, very tight group you will have to do some looking. I could see what i thought was suspended crappie from 6 to 15ft. If i were to go for them i would do some drift fishing midway in the back of a cove over say 25 ft of water, or maybe better troll a blue tiger #7 flicker shad on a light pole let it run in that 12 to 15ft range. I have a lot to learn about crappie but i will tell you that we put the smack down on them late morning on mothers day with that blue flicker shad. Bust the banks early, when there are done go to trolling. Hope that helps. If you cross a point with that crankbait you may find some walleye.
  3. I was jonesing to get on the water, I did not care if it was high. I had a bad leak down on my power trim, I work on it, couldn't stand it, I had to try it out. The trim is now fixed, it was a check valve. Many thanks to Cope marine, and Fishnwrench for the trouble shooting and parts. I should have taken a picture of the floor of my boat, it looked like basspro threw up in there, as it turns out all I needed was this little 3/8 Binks spoon to make something happen. Nothing real big but I came home with a mess of fish, my trim works and I didn't have to speak to anyone. I call that a win !😁
  4. I'm trying it 😁who else ?
  5. We were missed by 4 miles. Thank God !
  6. The guy n the video had a flag, I guess they don't help??
  7. I am a new to the kayak world, but when I was fishing at Eaglerock I about ran over a kayaker who was crossing the lake. I was not on plane or going fast. I have a deep V . To be honest the nose is higher than any kayak. If I do any more lake fishing I will have a flag on my yak, don't know what else to do to make it more visible. As a fellow yaker I was sorry but hey I am doing my best.
  8. I used a canoe, or jon boat or the like, but never a kayak until a year or so ago. Just put an anchor trolley, reel on this little 10 foot vibe. Will it be good ? I don't know.
  9. This is not unusual, we have had opossum, several hawks and owls, now this baby groundhog. I know we are probably in trouble somehow. Well, if the conservation agent who monitors this web site (yep, I know😁) would like to come to the house you can pick this little guy up.
  10. Murk is 6 months old now, I don't think he is "my" dog😁

  14. I marked a lot of fish at 30ft wish I could have had 1 walleye.
  15. Let me on your land, or my daughter we will show you
  16. Up until recently, I have worked outside my whole life. I guess my wife is tired of my face pealing off.
  17. My wife bought this to keep my head from burning off. How do you keep your glasses from fogging up It is not real comfy for a bearded guy. Suggestions are welcome.
  18. I am really not a trout guy, but it was a treat. Thought for sure it was a small walleye. That little trout sure was pretty !
  19. No I could see Eaglerock boat ramp.
  20. Fun day, got a late start. 2nd cast keeper bass on a crappie jig. Messed around with the thousands of buck bass near the bank, and then in 14 ft of water a pack of these (trout) came through, one was dumb enough to hit my dropshot. Smelt Berkely twitch tail, got the most bites for me. I didn't bring the ned out today. Got no walleye love😣 Happy Easter to you all !
  21. Wake boats are devil ! I don't care who hears say it😁
  22. It happened before I knew him. So there😛
  23. I have a friend who was a rider, they hit an island, he was ejected, broke his back. Not good. There was drinking involved.
  24. Spoonbill fishing, not my thing, each to his own though .
  25. I was going to go there but i figured the spoonbill guys would be working. I guess solitude was my real goal. The fish even left me alone.
