I am not looking for anyone's secret spot, just trying to get a feel for the action.
I fished Viola, I did see a couple folks catching a few, but I didn't do very well, just a few small males. About like this...
I agree, I thought that as well, and I expressed it when I was surveyed.
I bet there is some money to be made here.
I don't have trouble telling the difference between to two, but I know some that do.
A spotted bass is still a bass to me.
There do seem to be plenty of them.
Stockton Lake’s 12-inch spotted bass minimum length limit is not included in the 2019 Wildlife Code of Missouri or in MDC’s “2019 Missouri Fishing Regulations” summary booklet because the regulation had not been approved by deadline for these publications. It was approved at the February Conservation Commission meeting. The multi-step process through which a proposal becomes a regulation is explained on MDC’s public website at:
Whatever this means ?
I think the border lakes permit for Tablerock extends only to Houseman.(Beaver tail waters) Evidently there is a defined boundary in some areas. Probably defined by what is "lake boundary."
I have split ring pliers with braid cutters that are handy. My favorite cutting tool at the time are those little extendable razor knives. For a dollar you can buy 3, I have them everywhere. They work well on braid.
I like fried fish, and baked fish.
I like a cornmeal type coating but the box stuff is way too salty for me. I have tried to make my own but it seems to burn, or taste bland.
I am all ears, if you all would like to share.
Thanks
I'm the newbie, the other 2 guys you mentioned are the folks i look up to.
Best advice i can give is fish habitat, many times you will not see them on the graph.
It's a faith thing many times, you will find yourself saying "I know they are here."
