This is creeping me out. I got into a bunch of seed ticks once, and really bad chiggers on a job site. Nothing like having to go back day after day knowing what will bite you. I used some kind of really strong bug repellent. It worked but I still can't say words with the letter R in them. I know it's not a bed bug story but it is the best I got. Have you ever used diatomaceous earth as a preventive bug killer ? It is cheep harmless to humans but works on anything with an exoskeleton. You an even eat it, it is in every grain product made in the US.

We got on the water around 8 fished most of the day, throwing jigs at the bank and working the brush nothing much. We found drifting a couple minnows worked alright but it was still just one here and one there but they were all keepers. The area is covered in spoonbill boats. Yes there is a k bass in the mix. -
We never had a short one. All had eggs. I think the girls are ready.

Agreed, I think the crappie were really boat shy. I would get over a school they would instanty vanish. I don't know what to think about the spoonbill season.

It looks like the driveway of the south ramp at Bridgeport would be in the highway easement, I guess I will find out. Hopefully soon.

I have always wanted to try a 3 way swivel weight and a flat rap or other floating stickbait. That you could work slow enough for any water temp. I might give it a whirl tomorrow.
