I thought it might be good to inlist some help from some of you more experienced crappie fishermen. My friend and I are thinking of fishing after church. We won't have much time for looking. Been there, I feel for you. For me it was like large fiberglass that went right to the nerve. Best remedy for me was to stay busy. I wish I had more info for you.

I use the cheap ones from wallmart. They are a little difficult to snatch a rod from but I have caught a ton of fish from them

I ran around Alabama as a kid, I decided to run through the pine woods kicking those things (fire ant mounds). Don't do that ! I have seen better pictures of bigfoot, but I would guess fire ants as well.

Oh man I would love to get out there, just to take a look. I bet the fishing is different.

Yep the medium/large ones if you can find them, I like drop shot the best but next time I try it I think I will try some small spinner set up, just for some added vibration. I am working a bunch right now, don't know when I will get out next. I am not pretending to be any kind of expert, just trying to learn something new. Good luck !

Get the drift sock and a couple extra split shot. It worked ok for me.
