  1. I like the hula sticks too.
  2. All right you asked for it. I like 1/2 oz and 1/4 oz Binks spoons in Arkansas shiner, silver, gold, and silver with blue back. Sometimes white with red head and glow. My uncle fishes Tablerock, he really likes the 3/4 oz gold spoons. Binks has recently come out with some new colors and sizes. I really like the product and service. I am teaching my 8 year old grandson how they work. His last trip to Tablerock he jigged up some small bluegill and crappie in 35 feet of water on a 1/4 oz spoon. If I can do it anyone can. You won't be disappointed. Dan
  3. sold yet ? transducer?
  4. Thanks. Great customer service, and a product that works, is enough for me. From the first purchase Binks spoons (Kevin Baker) has treated me like I was the only customer he had, and from the reviews that I have heard, everyone feels that way.
  5. Found some whitebass suspended in 38 to 42 feet of water. Tried out the double dip with a pole in each hand each armed with a Binks spoon. The largest was just under 18 inches.
  6. Very nice ! Thank you !
  7. What a life !
  8. What you are doing is really neat for sure. Thank you for sharing.
  9. I have seen people pull a floating jerk bait on a 3 way swivel . It is very similar to what you are doing, but slower.
  10. Awesome it looks like you have them figured out. How many crank baits do you lose in a day?
  11. White bass what?😀
  12. Thanks for the reply. I am with you there. We should all take a little internal inventory to see what is really there.
  13. Ok I agree that people mess with the already wonderful creation a little too much. I assume that you must be referring to an unidentified specific person. I am sure that there are atheists and agnostics that are fish biologists too. I think our life shows what and how we believe, although the Christian life can be difficult at times I figure I will stay with it until they put me in the ground. Gods been good to me even though I did not deserve it. Thanks for the clarification, I am a Christian that is why I asked. .
  14. Ok I will bite ( I think this is called a reaction strike ) Who are the alleged Christians, and why are they messing with white bass?
  15. yep I have won something at wallmart if I reply in 16 1/2 seconds
  16. I thought the same, but not very productive. We find some small bass and walleye 21 feet deep or so on north facing points near main channel. Metallic blue spoon was the ticket, but still nothing to brag about. I did hook something that stayed down but came unbuttoned before I could do much, I had switched to a small 1/4 oz spoon, I think the hook was too small. For whatever reason many species were holding on those breaks? We fished from 11am until about 5pm. What little action we had was about 1 or 2pm. We were on the north end.
  17. quite a bit of bank showing since the last time that I was out. Hey is that your lucky fishing belt? Thank you for the report, I will work at getting my grandson out for the whites.
  18. I still had to clean the garage. Oh our bass winners for the benefit tournament turned in a 5 fish limit that was 12 lbs and some change, with one being a small mouth. I thought that was good.
  19. Ha that is funny ! We turned in 7 walleye for the benefit tournament. Working on the boat Saturday (not part of my honey do) found two more laying behind the bait bucket in the live well, from a week ago. I know I deserve a butt kick'n for that. Shoveling the maggots out was a pretty good punishment. We could have turned in 9 that day, there was 3 of us. All walleye were caught between 11 am and about 2 pm last Saturday. My son hooked a really good one that got off 3 inches from the net, but at lest we got a look at it. I am sure glad that you found some.
  20. I sure hope someone is slaying the walleye today. I am land locked with a very sprained ankle and a honey do list. Bluebird sky, wind, it don't get no better walleye weather.
  21. I think that there are many suspended fish over deep water during the day. There are a couple ways to target these fish. I am not real good at it...yet.
  22. As always a good read...I would have eaten that fish.
  23. We could have some for sale next year. If someone was interested.
  24. They are pretty picky eaters. They go up in the evening just like the chickens, in fact we found them in the chicken coop Saturday night.
  25. Wow wow wow !
