  5. Made it to the lake ! No bite all day until 4 pm. The sun peeked out from under the light cloud cover for about an hour, I had full sun and promptly caught a total of 7 walleye from 3 different locations. I was tough fishing. I am happy. I got called into work Sunday afternoon probably won't fish until next month. November walleye is in the boat !
  6. Thank you all for the help, we had a great time, very tough fishing for us. Just a couple of smallies. I don't know jack about that clear deep water.
  7. Fist time on Beaver in 20 years, help needed. Thanks
  8. I read something, somewhere that said, there are only 5 battery makers in the USA. They no doubt have 100's of different specs they build to. So there is some worthless info. I buy the best one I can afford. The last one I bought was from Academy, it works well.
  9. I do something similar, but I tend to cast the spoon into the wind when possible. I guess I figure that the bait fish are moving with the current. I am not sure that it matters?? Very good read !
  10. Hey at least you got out, it's all about work for me right now. Thank you for the report.
  11. Is it color or gray scale?
  12. Thank you all. I am hopeful !
  13. Any where from 10 to 25 feet.
  14. I learned a new word today, now if I could just learn to catch large walleye. Thanks RPS !
  15. Spoons and bouncers are doing it. I think that I have walleye catch video back to April. January, February, and March were tough for me. If I make my goal I hope to compile a one year walleye video. We will see how it goes !
  16. I got a walleye in the boat for October, this was the first one for the day. I ended up with 3 keeper walleye from 15 1/2 to just shy of 18", 5 nice white bass, and 2 crappie, this was my take for the day. I was glad to get a day on the water. I will post my youtube link soon, having pc trouble.

  21. I rigged these up for my ,fisher women, wife, She loves them. They cost about $2.10 to make. If you make these for your wife, you could see a lot of action
  22. Awesome ! My wife and I are in the market for a couple kayaks. We are anxious to get back to floating and fishing the quiet way.
  23. I could not wait to go to the lake, but a guy can make time for some creek fishing.
  24. I thew some of the assorted drop shot plastics at some creek bass and did well too, even after the rain. I have been working a bunch so I am using this opportunity to say thank you to pepe' too. Thanks !!
  25. I know that part of the river well, I met my wife there on the 4th of July 29 yrs ago. It is not the place it used to be, but the river just keeps flowing. There was a time when the fishing was great, the white bass used to run well above horse creek, and there were many mink running the banks, I can't tell you how many cat fish we used to catch. Be careful down there now it is a lawless area. The drug culture has pretty much take that part of the world over. Love the pictures, there are many interesting caves in the area too.
