  1. I forgot about that one, next time. Thank you.
  2. Yes it was barricaded off. You could not get to the parking lot at all
  3. I was told that you will get a ticket for launching from the marina parking lot. I was going to do that but got stopped by the manager.
  4. It was closed yesterday, no sign at the shack up front, you get to pay and find out later that it's closed, went to Campbell point, but the ramp was too long and shallow for my wife's suv, I ended up launching at shellknob. Caught I don't know how many short k bass in the brush on the bank, pb&j trick worm was the ticket for me. I'm an open water fisherman I can do the bank busting stuff, I don't like it as much. Every thing seemed to be in the shallows
  5. I don't know...I think I can run my honda civic at 5k all day and, and not hurt it and it's more funner...not really.
  6. They all pull fuel from the bottom of the tank or very near it.
  7. We have a family thing in hotspings Ark. My question is about lake Hamilton. It's a four hour drive for me, so does anyone have any experience fishing this lake, I hate to take the boat if the fishing sucks. Thanks
  8. My son asked if I wanted any camel hump fat to fry my eggs, I said nope I'm good😁
  9. That is the way they are built, they are odd animals, they smell weird too. According to the owner they have been doing this for 10 yrs and it continues to grow. They pasteurize in house, fairly technically stuff too.
  10. Apparently camel milk is the next new health food, at nearly $300 per gallon I guess the rich and famous will be the healthiest. My son has completed paddocks in this new camel free stall barn. I was helping him with some of the outside fencing yesterday. The owner says they cannot keep up with demand....who knew? In addition a young female camel will fetch $10k
  11. HAHA, never heard that one.
  12. Mustard weird, I'm going to try that, Thank you We rolled some white bass in some buffalo sauce before the corn meal went on, it was different and good, very mild hit of the sauce.
  13. Phil did you figure out how to cook those crappie so they aren't mushy? I'm hit and miss when it come to crappie filets
  14. Measure the volume, dump a couple cups of water in the jar, shake, let it set for a while, the gas will be on top, water and alcohol will be on the bottom. It's interesting.
  15. Both are on Stockton every year....well they used to be😁
  16. I have tried them, always very tart, to me. I will try again.
  17. Me too !!!! they are everywhere around Carthage, I also have a strong distain for that wild plum too, I'm not sure if it is feral or not. I still hate them.
  18. I'm no electrical engineer, but I work with a couple. I hope they can make it work, or something clean and sustainable. I hope someone cracks the code to recycle lithium, in a cost effective clean way. I don't like where and how we get lithium now, at least as far as I understand it. Well we have done it again, we are way down the rabbit hole. But I like it.
  19. I think a small nuclear reactor in the back yard would work. It's clean and environmentally friendly...just a little one.
  20. Smart man, thanks 👍
  21. I have a lot of concerns about electric vehicles
  22. Before you buy into the electric truck thing, you might want to check the distance while pulling a trailer. Someone did that with the Rivan truck and an 800lb trailer. They got 1.5 hrs while towing. It's on YouTube if someone wants to double check. I have very little on the topic of towing with an electric truck.
  23. For sure, if uncle sam wants to give folks stimulus money, cut those taxes or do away with 1/2 of them. I'm fix'n to get the soapbox out😁
  24. Yep I remember selling steel in 2008 diesel was $4 at that time.
  25. My family and I have really enjoyed going to the lake, but the high fuel prices have made to hobby nearly impossible for the working slob like myself. I have had my boat out less than 5 times in 18 months, where it was nearly an every weekend event. I have some serious concerns about fuel prices during the popular boating months (that's when the walleye bite is good for me). I guess I will have to become a kayak fisherman, no more tubing with the grandkids that's for sure. There could be a dual console deep V for sale soon.
