  2. I'll let you know.
  3. That's only <9,000 cfs... that's a little more than one unit at TR. Pretty impressive flow. That's the amount of water running into the lake because it's not dropping at all. In contrast, seeing what they're running at TR - again, that's what's coming into TR because it's not dropping either.
  4. We hat OA hats. I'll see if Nathan can put them on our shopping site.
  5. You can if you want, Sandy. Just let me know and I’ll help.
  6. Sandy. Please contact me about any issues you're having with Rick's account here on the forum. 417-337-4130.
  7. They shut Beaver Dam down to 7,000 cfs. That really helped TR's rise. It's slowed down a lot. 927.27 feet now.
  8. Thought I'd start a new topic entailing the whole system. https://www.swl-wc.usace.army.mil/pages/reports/remote/lakfcst.htm This is the link I was looking for. Can't get there on a phone... not the same website. But the info PRESENTLY is outdated since the predicted crest for TR is 927 feet - it's there now and rising each hour. BS says crest is 684 feet on May 25th. That's nuts! What a rise with one event!
  9. Rex Grady... he passed a few years ago. Awesome guy! Trav is still around, although he lives up by Pomme now. There are huge blacks on Lower Taney for sure. I for one can't tell you where or how though. @Travis Swift uses big swim baits down there and has done well. Later on in the summer there's tons of pond weed that bass hang around in.
  10. I don't know... they seem to be ok with letting Beaver stay close to 1130 feet in the past. Who knows.... 21,000 cfs is about all we can handle and still stay in operation. But that's just one business in the big picture. We could take 25 and still get on our dock but sending boats out is another thing. We're only sending out bass boats and pontoons now - no jon boats. Go to show it only takes one big event to send this into crisis mode. I remember back 15 years ago one event - TR started at 907 feet. This rain sent us into the first of several "floods". I think we got 61,000 cfs then. I think at some point, Congress is going to have to revisit all the Power Pool levels. Unfortunately, it may take a catastrophic event like the emergency gates opened to get there.
  11. I got that est from someone who got it from a Corps ranger. I'm sure he got it from someone in the office that heard it from ... Yeah now that the system is close to capacity, any more moderate rains will put more water on us (Taney). We traveled over 86 yesterday. All the rivers and creeks were still full.
  12. Supposed to crest Sunday at 925.8 feet.
  13. You got some of the best water to fish right now. Everything else is blown up.

  15. They got Beaver crested but more rain coming later today. It just won't stop. But after today, not much rain for 10 days. TR is rising about .3 feet per hour right now.
  16. My neighbor who lives in Tulsa said that They got 12 inches of rain last night and yesterday
  17. They should go to 20,000 at TR as soon as Taney drops out. They can't release more because the lower lake is flooded. Then it's 20k for quite a while. I think TR can handle the water. Hope so. But what's next? More rain? We are pulling some boats... just in case.
  18. Almost all females. Most has all their eggs. Some have spawned already.
  19. Two gates coming on this morning at 9 am. Total 15,000 cfs It starts...
  20. My jigs... Lilley's Jigs.
  21. I did catch a couple of sinkin' bass. They were hitting shad on the surface within range of my cast. One broke me off... try to horse him.
  22. Water temp 59-61 and good color.
  23. Got the mowing done and landscape terrace cleared out... headed to the creek yesterday. I almost turned into both K Dock and Swan Creek/Shadow Rock roads because I was apprehensive about putting in at Beaver. But it was fine. There's 2 places to put in at the park - and only one rig at one of them. Didn't even get my feet wet. I headed up and started straight back past the bluff on the left. Found all kinds of brush in 10-14 feet of water and that's where the fish were. They weren't in the brush closer to the banks. I guess with the water coming up so fast, they're staying out for now. They weren't that deep - may be 3-4 feet. Caught probably 40-45. Kept 13 nice ones. Threw back may be 5 or more that were just 10 inches or a hair more. Caught them all on 1/16th oz white jigs, 4 pound line. Pics later... haven't cleaned them yet. They're on ice. Only one boat in the creek that I saw. Couldn't believe there were more ppl out. Perfect day.
