  1. I was just going by @ollie statement in his first post. Boy if they put people in when it's dangerous you would think they would get blown up social media....
  2. He was pissed first thing this morning but when I left for work and took the pic he was just laying there. His eyes are open. Release procedure is in flux at this point. Put a big towel over the cage, Use channel locks to hold trap door open and poke with stick if need be. All while holding a 38 for protection. I'll let you know later today. I was talking to someone here at work and apparently we had a bunch here. The cleaning lady went to the dumpster to dump trash and one came out for the dumpster and she freaked and fell and broke her wrist. Cost the company $50K. Then we paid critter control $2k to get rid of them and they trapped 22 of them. The guy that caught them said you have drive them 100 miles out or they make their way back. I'm hoping crossing the Missouri river will do it.
  3. Smallest fish to biggest lure ratio...
  4. Glad you picked up on that.
  5. Okay. I saw a group last year of at least 25 kids putting in on the Meramec do it yourself. They all had car carrier racks for the kayaks and rafts. Of course this was very near the STL metro area. They didn't clear the ramp in a timely fashion either. Most were putting on sunscreen when I finally asked of they could move aside so I could take my boat out.
  6. I participated but only caught a couple dinks. I didn't fish as much as usual due to the holiday. I like the way we had it and next time I'll just post my dink and take the ribbing.
  7. Well meet contestant #1. Say hi to Rosco from Weldon Spring MO. At lunch Roscoe and I are going for a drive. Alright everybody all at once, "BYYYEEE ROOSCOE!!!
  8. Do you know for sure they were put in by a livery company? If not, maybe you don’t need to be upset. Not trying to dog you but the explosion of paddle sports has a lot of people doing it on their own.
  9. That’s been the deal since min flow has been instituted on the chain.
  10. I just put out a new set. I think I had the marshmallows too close to the stand plate so the raccoon never actually stood on it. Or possum.
  11. I can’t say I competed. But I attempted to compete. Do I get a participation plaque😂
  12. I agree, but who the heck needs to cheat to get a plaque? I rarely weigh them and if I do I realize the scale may not be correct. That's why I stick with length.
  13. I offered once..... Now I'm glad you passed!! The way Taney is going I might be hitting your river again in two weeks. I'll send pics.
  14. I've only been able to make the December date twice. But I understand the problem of picking dates. I like the earlier dates.
  15. Trap was $37 delivered and the marshmallows were a $1.39. It traps them alive.... Then I get to open the trap and make sure I don't get attacked. There's sport in that too You know I'm joking around about your dog right.
  16. Tomcat mole killer works great! Not sure about using them with a pet in the yard though.
  17. Got cats out there though.
  18. The trap doesn't require food, shots or whatever else you to do for him/her. Like dump them off at the kennel when he doesn't fit your schedule. No hair either. Trap doesn't smell like a wet dog when its wet....
  19. Yes, we've covered that...
  20. We're working on different options. Please respond to the poll when it comes out.
  21. Thanks for the insight, Yoda
  22. Good job to both @Bill Jr. and @fishinwrench!!!
  23. I put a trail into the trap and put some under the trap in a small depression so they would have to kind of dig for them. Adjustments will be made. Like I said it's on! It's the only sport I can enjoy in the burbs. It's the large Havaheart Trap.
  24. Marshmallows gone, trap empty😐. They even got the ones under the trap.
  25. None the less, a stringer of smalls sux!!!!
