    I have 7’ airstream per Hams suggestion. Love it. I even use it as a ned rig rod. Lotta fun on a light rod.

    Sitting here pinching barbs while it thunders. Supposed to be generating at 1 and I’ll be there. Took a mega bass hook under my index finger nail Monday. It was pinched but the flopping fish kind of wallowed out the hole.

    Thanks Duckydoty but I won’t make 5 The goal is to catch one out Long creek next. I may not go there tomorrow because of overcast conditions. Hard to see shallow water on flat light. Probably be at Taney again tomorrow but not at 5 am. Crack of noon I trailered to bridge port and ran to blunks but I didn’t like what I saw so ran back in a 25 mile head wind in a flat bottom trailered to galena and caught what I came for

    Nike shoe string worked back in the day when I was a kid. Maybe it was Converse allstars. It’s been a while but my fly fishing purist dad gave me the stink eye when I was using it.

    After I drove down from Saint Charles I didn’t get on the water until noon. I caught the first fish on the 3rd cast and kept at it till 4. Pop and droppped jigs below Fall Creek until the generation started and I went to the cable. Only two guide boats up there. Had a great time. Here all week till Labor Day. I’ll keep posting as I go along.

    As a teenager my parents sent me to be a dock boy up on leech lake for a couple summers. After getting the clients boats loaded in the morning we could fish all day. Caught em till we got tired of them. Locals used big minnows drifted with the wind. Works like crazy

    How could MoCarp receive PM's on here if it is not setup? He said he was getting PM's from a bunch of people on here. I think we've seen and heard enough.
