Fly Southwest super cheap and rent an SUV. 3 of us flew into Denver for under $300 round trip and rented an SUV. Very pleasant trip compared to driving over 1,000 miles each way.

I agree Wrench. That's where I learned and that's' where I took my kids. When I was real young wandering all over the country with my dad it can be pretty boring to fish some of the famous waters and only catch a fish or two. Dry Run Creek is another great spot for that. Another thing I taught my kids there was to see the difference between active fish that could be caught and lethargic fish that will just get out of the way of your fly.

I agree, that has to be some kind of record for a construction project of that size. Even when you buy a pre made slip form bridge you still have a lot of work ahead of you to get it complete. Anybody know the contractor that did the work??

That sux! Watch Craigslist is about all you can do. Spread the word in your neighborhood too. Our neighborhood has an app for your phone called Nextdoor. Twice in the past two months someone has posted about car or garage break-ins to warn others. Within one day several people had the perpetrators on camera all over the place and posted the pics on the app. They even tracked them through different neighborhoods with time stamps from their cameras and doorbells with cameras. Cops had both groups within 2 days. I've been thinking of getting one.

Well 5 trips now and and it works perfectly. Last weekend on the meramec in current again and it was hot out. We stayed on it for 4 hours. No problems. Yesterday 4 hours fishing in the wind = no problem again. I will say one thing. If you hit the spot lock feature while you're moving at a pretty good clip it doesn't work as well. It wants to get back to where you hit the button. It would almost be better if when you hit the button it would slow you to a stop and stay there. But hey overall I love it. Hook a fish, hit the button. Need to tie on a new bait, hit the button. Need a coffee, hit the button.

You know what's funny. I don't watch much TV or movies and my wife works for the cable company so we get every channel and movie available for $17 per month and that includes internet.
