  1. As all min flow did in Arkansas was limit wading opportunties. More water with no O2 is still no O2 Pete

  5. I plan to be down thursday night leaving Saturday. I do not have a boat and I know it's the Jigfest but I like to fly fish. Pete
  6. I've been buying them online since it became available. Love it! Saves time and money. I trim it down to the smallest it can be but still have all the info. Fold it half and laminate it myself with clear box tape. One in my waders that stays there all year and one for my pocket when not wearing waders. Plus, if I print it at work I feel like my getting over on the man. Pete
  7. I have several Sages including a brand new light line series. It's never been wet.
  8. I've met charlie too. River Run Outfitters used to have a Helios on their front porch to test cast. I loved it the first time I tried it. I waited until the Helios 2 came out and they dropped the price the original and I bought one. I don't think a person could go wrong with either a Sage One or Helios. The Helios replaced my Sage VPS that I have had for years. Along with 15 other rods I don't use. Pete
  9. Ham, I too just wore out a pair of goretx boots and I'm looking to replace them. Can you add a link to the ones you bought please? Pete
  10. I have a Helios with a Litespeed. Love it.
  11. Man that is one nice setup.
  12. Davey knot all the way. It's smaller, uses less line (fluoro cost $15 per spool) and doesn't curl up the tippet. Pete
  13. Just kidding. I thought the 10 page thread about the Ned concluded it was just a grub? pete
  14. Plus one on wool. I got Simms winds stoppers as a gift. Stick with wool. Better yet. Leave winter fishing to me. Pete
  15. Rick!!! Control yourself. Pete
  16. Article says he caught it on a Ned rig. Pete
  17. I'm stopping there on my way to Norfork. Probably hit the North Fork of the White and the Spring. Of course boat fishing on the Norfork and White. Pete
  18. Can I say it again? Doesn't this always happen with boats? Pete
  19. I'll have a good idea of what's going on down there tomorrow around 9AM. If you know what I mean. Pete
  20. Thanks Ham. I just found that BS is 450' at zero and right now it's 459'. Thanks to old chart on His Place website! If we fish the dam area that I know pretty well I will "start" with a 12' to 14'leader. 9' plus the normal 3' or 4' of water up there. It's not exact but it helps. BTW, I meant indicator not bobber. Pete
  21. Since I bobber fish with a fly rod it gives me a good idea of how long my leader should be. Not exact but it helps when I first start out. Pete
  22. What is the tailwater elevation for the White and Norfork on zero generation? I think it used to be on the lake levels charts but I don't see it anymore. I'll be down Wednesday afternoon to Saturday. Pete
