  1. Sorry to here that about your wife, 176. I don't think I'll be able to retire until my wife and I qualify for Medicare. I can't afford medical insurance for myself and my wife is a cancer survivor and is uninsurable. Last time I paid for my own insurance it was $1500 per month. But I like my job so I guess it could be worse. Pete
  2. Everything I own is paid for too. I still think your piling on. Pete
  3. Are you dog piling me!!! Pete
  4. I worked 9 hours. Pete
  5. And you think work is cramping your fishing life and you caught 25 trout yesterday??!!! Your killing me Ham!!! Pete
  6. Hang a trailer treble hook off the fluke. Even if you don't detect it right away they usually stayed buttoned up. Pete
  7. Me too. My wife lets me bail out from the In-laws on Friday morning. Usually go to Taney but I might switch it up this year. Just want to go somewhere with some trout. Pete
  8. I was just relaying the "pavilion talk" I over heard. Kind of like church lady gossip. Pete
  9. Talk around the hatchery pavilion over the weekend was, they were running water early in the AM to flush out all the dead fish before sunrise. Apparently a lot die at night and they use generation to flush them out. I didn't see it so it's just hear say. Pete
  10. That explains a lot. I saw hundreds of tailing trout Saturday up by the dam. That really shows how mobile they really are. I might have to go back to fishing them without a bobber. I think swinging a scud might work at times too. Great video. Pete
  11. I'm pretty sure she would be happy if I went to SDC. Pete
  12. I'll bring salad and pie for Friday night. I can also bring coffee and filters. Dont count on me Thursday night, I may not get there until late depending on work. Pete
  13. Cash only last year. Thanks for doing that. Pete
  14. I'm telling you after they did that it put a new spin on trout fishing alone down there. Hard to fend off a big cat with a 4 weight. That's why I use a 5 weight now. Pete
  15. Spanks. Reeds Spring. MO As much as I can remember, update your vaccinations prior to entry. SIO3
  16. I can't wait to see the stories. I think you should include 3rd party drunken accounts just for entertainment My mother in law swears she saw a black panther in Illinois a couple years ago. Pete
  17. What Terrierman and griz said. Pete
  18. I know. It's just that some of my favorite areas aren't accessible anymore. And the fish don't use those areas the same way they used to. Pete
  19. Thanks, Phil. I'm not worried I just like to wade. But I am getting better fishing out of a boat lately. Pete
  20. I just don't think MF in Arkansas is delivering as thought. Sure there's more surface water but that doesn't mean it holds fish. It really limited wading opportunities in my oppinion. 50 years of going to Branson and I guess I'll finally go to Silver Dollar City. My wife should be happy though. Pete
  21. As all min flow did in Arkansas was limit wading opportunties. More water with no O2 is still no O2 Pete
  22. Bummer. I'm headed down Friday. Is it any better farther down river? Or how about the creeks? Pete
  23. Hie dad is 6'5". Althought this kid is young he's a big boy like his dad. Pete
  24. I saw a big one just above Fall Creek on Labor Day weekend. Kind of freaked me out at first sight of it. Pete
