    Nobody told me a 55 pound trolling motor would over load the wires. I figured if a 35 pound was good a 55 is better. Still working this past weekend. No smoke but it gets hot.

    I do it all the time with 1752 60/40 Jet Blazer SS. It helps to wet the bunks fully before you do it and I have a pair muck boats so I can just step onto the trailer then in the water. I partially pull the troller up so only the head is in the water and drive it right up there. At around 70% power the toque of the motor keeps in the right position without much pull on the rope. I partially pull the troller when going over shallow shoals too. I've already busted off one prop.

    They must see something because the dive boats are always there. I'm sure it's good pickings. I've seen them scavenging under the state park marina too. The guys at the dive desk always the depth that the most fish are at.

    My daughter had her apple watch come off when she jumped from the diving bluff on Labor Day weekend. I figure it's in about 95' of water. Would you be able to see that if you were diving? I'm not asking you to get it just wondering because I think you said its nearly pitch black that deep.

    I've seen the tourney guys with the weigh in at Hwy 30 all the way down at the Big River in the spring. Lots of em too. That's a pretty good haul.
