My persimmon tree drops branches every year that are loaded with fruit. They soften up but I've never had the guts to taste one. Looks like coon scat to me.

I've lost count. Best one was when I was wading Taney. I had been catching them pretty good and forgot where I was at. I turned to move downstream a little and forgot about the big boulder I had been standing by. I raked my shin on the rock and took a piece of meat off my shin down to the bone. I found it in my bloody waders at the end of the day. Looked just like a 7" piece of bacon. I have the scar if you want to see it.

I'm glad you said that, Nitroman. I deal with the Corp almost daily and it is very frustrating to say the least. Try to clarification on a steel specification for a marine project and see what happens.

With all due respect why can other dam controllers like the TVA put out reliable generation schedules? I've been to a few tail water areas and they all put out reliable information.

I don't care if it's a 100 year or 10,000 year flood plain. It will flood. -
There is a private golf course nearby that I used to bass fish a couple ponds all the time. They used to grow some big ole fertilizer bass. Until management hired out the grounds maintenance to a separate company. Their workers were primarily Latinos and they caught them netting the lake for fish. They literally netted out all the fish to eat. The following couple years the bull frogs exploded on those ponds. When you pull up to the ponds there are literally thousands of them all over the place. The Latinos apparently don't like frogs though.
