This post will shut em down for sure.
Now what am I gonna do for entertainment?
I guess I'll invite the inlaws over for dinner and tell em I let fish go after I catch em.

I really enjoy reading those threads, although I've never been involved in one. I think they are hillarious.
I play golf with a couple guys like that and they argue all day and even argue driving to the golf course. One of them has been to anger management counceling TWICE!!

Those vids are wild Phil.
I came up with a great way to catch cats on Tablerock.
The kids were feeding the bluegill Tostidos one day when we were beached near Indian Point swimming. There were hundreds of them around and under the boat.
All of the sudden they went nuts and you could see dozens of big cats circling in to eat the bluegill. I mean nice ones. I dropped a white fluke in the middle of the frenzy and those cats would pound it.
We had a blast for a couple hours catching nice cats on ten pound line and spinning rod. I bet in that clear water they would be good eatin.

Religion, politics, global warming and now maybe mountain lions.
Looks like the mountain lion "issue" might get whacked.
Did you notice that a topic is okay but when it becomes an "issue" it might get shut down.
These are things an idle mind does when not fishing .
Carry on. And I mean carry on.

I went and looked and the DO is gone from the graph. I would think this late in the year the lake has turned, like Tablerock and the DO would be fine.
I have been wrong before though.. Once I think...

Not many people know but HoHum allows fishing for $3 "parking" fee if your not camping. Don't bother to go there after Memorial Weekend unless you like to PARTY!!!!

No shad kill this year G.
Taney had one going for while.
BTW, I think they generate to make money off the electricity.
Minimum flow hasn't been instituted yet. It's been approved though.

I'm not sure what it weighed BirdW. I caught it on a 9 weight and released it pretty quick..
I caught one probably half again as big as that one, a week or so before that pic was taken. It's head was at my belt and the tail almost touched the ground. It was a real brute on a fly rod.
Only after I let it go did it dawn on me that it might be a record fish on 10 pound tippet. That's hardest fighting fresh water fish there is.

No Problem Drath.
That's the canoe launch access. It's decent fishing there.
BTW, Sand Spring has allowed me to fish their access when I asked them.

I feel you Hotdawg.
I was hesitant to post my recent video and had to scrutinize every frame in case something unacceptable might be there.
Some Warriors are just looking for something to rip on.
Post up the photos, it really is only fishing.

The bottom circle is public at the park.
But the top circle is actually owned by Sand Spring Resort. Instead, go across 64 to the other side, which is not visible on your photo, and that is the access Oneshot is talking about.
Hope this makes sense.

When we start getting into the big heads it seems the hybrids leave the area.
Did you clean and cook them yourself OB?
They will kill a fly in the spring. Call me I'll go. I won't eat em though...
Pete
I hear ya. I just got back and I'm ready to go again.
I have a trip planned in late March to Taney but I'll probably go to Mountain Home again before then.
Headed to Mr Lucky's for a beer later today...
Pete
Don't those two things ultimately result in a lack of female companionship?
BTW, just doggin you Eric. when Jim and I catch them we pile em on the bank for the scavengers...
