Al. I respect your knowledge and I'm sure you've caught more fish than I've seen but I just read your post and couldn't help wandering that it seemed odd you said you were casting downstream with a crank ? Was that to throw people off ? My cast pattern on river fish is one of my most guarded secrets so I don't blame you for throwing people off with saying the downstream crank cast.
