  1. Meanwhile back the Bradford Pear ranch. Old Blue's tick and flea collar is failing, Bobby Sue's pie has falling off the window seal. And young Sam will not come out of the darn bathroom... Back to you Howard!!!
  2. Congratulations. Beautiful fish. It's always a thrill to catch something like that.... At least that's what they tell me. lol
  3. With nine brothers and three sisters. I learned at a very young age to always, and I mean always, pick up a turd by the clean end. 💩 I'm just saying. 😉
  4. That was the whole point of the hybrid program. To solve the unacceptable anal retention problem that has always plagued the loose stools of the white bass. 💩
  5. The Truth is out there!!!
  6. Really enjoyed your video. Thanks for posting it again. Never get tired of watching a successful trip!!!
  7. Dutch I fished the Ruark and Sons creek area Friday. Based on sticking my rod in the water, I would say two, to two and a half feet visibility. Seen water temps 50 to 54 degrees. Water 💦 just had this perfect little stain to it.
  8. Nice article. But I didn't really grasp how he worked it?

    CC ?

It's a free corp launch location. It's also called Greenfield Ramp. It is where the Sac and Turnback meet. Good area.
  10. Fished the Sons creek and Ruark area today. Crossed over Turnback at 160 hwy. The water was perfect. Just a slight stain and 2 feet or better visibility. I seen temps fro 50 to 54 degrees. No need to bring up my fishing here. I'll post that in the loser forum. lol
  11. My plan is to go Friday. I will probably launch at Ruark and decide what to do from there. I I would like to go over to CC, but unless I here something favorable about the water conditions there. I probably won't. Either way I will let you know what I see.
  12. P.S. Where's that lake???
  13. The only place I know of near You is at Everton. There is a little convenience store right on the highway that carries them starting sometime in April.
  14. The one I have is touch screen. Makes it really simple to use. I truly appreciate simple!!! I can't honestly say it has made a better fisherman as of yet. But it is so clear, I can clearly see what I am not catching. lol As a matter of fact, I could clearly see a Walleye the other day flipping me the bird. True story.
  15. If God and I have the same plan? After 35 years, I am 5 months away from telling the RR goodbye and catching up on all that sleep and fishing deprivation.
  16. I am assuming that is with transducer? That is what they were W/O transducer when I bought mine. That's a great deal if it comes with. I knew the price would drop soon. This electronic stuff is always like that. I just couldn't help myself.
  17. I recently purchased the 73sv and I can tell you it has Stockton, TRL and Pomme on it.
  18. The Trading Post at HWY 160 and HWY H in Greenfield probably has them. I'm not sure how late they are open.
  19. I have an older an Older Hummingbird 597 HD at the bowl and have recently mounted a Garmin ECHO MAP plus chirp 73sv at the console. Can't really compare the two. But I really love the Garmin. But the hummingbird served me well. The Garmin has so many cool features, as I am sure the others do as well. It is so crisp clear even I can understand a lot of it. Would love the Panoptix, but it was a little out of my wife's blessing range. lol Maybe someday. Mine is compatible, just need the transducer. There is a post on here that has really helped me better understand my electronics, but there much more to learn. Now if I could only catch fish.
  20. When you say ramp. Your not talking about the one at Ruark are you? is there one further south on Sons creek? I haven't ventured that far. Thanks
  21. I'm glad to find out it just isn't me. I went down Thursday and although, I didn't get skunked, It was close. That was the first time I had been there in 20 plus years. And it was crazy. I guess Stockton has spoiled me in regards to a more laid back approach and environment. I think I'll head back to Stockton and Pomme. lol But that being said, That's a beautiful area.
  22. I really the looks of that. 👍🏻
  23. All I can tell you is. Last Friday it was high enough to run a boat up there. Water was pretty clear with just a slight color to it.

I can't believe you tried a jig. I had a guy tell me that was TR bait. That I should try an 8inch swim bait. Can't remember who that was though. 😂
  25. Well MrGiggles, I didn't fare any better. Launched at CC. Covered the area pretty good. Beautiful day. I seen water temps from 47 to 51. Water was almost clear. Just a slight tint to it. Conditions were really good. Caught one keeper LM and one short. Which makes me ask myself , "why I am so bad at this"? Then I remembered how much I enjoy it, and I wasn't at work. lol It was a great day.
