  3. O. H. Ivie produces 2 more double digits in one day. 1 over 12lbs and 1 just under 15lbs.
  4. Also in Texas if anything comes after any type of livestock, poultry, etc on your property. you have the right to bear arms and shoot it.
  5. I also have a really good friend, who's dog part beagle and part rottweiler, would catch them and eat the whole thing. Was kind of gross, But I saw it one day eating something hairy and I asked John, was that cat eating a rabbit, he said no a cat. Yum YUm. His neighbor had upwards of 30 running around at one time and they truly all disappeared
  6. Had one the other day, was freak-in huge. On a squirrel, All of a sudden the cat fell over. I assumed it was from lead poison. Never had a atopies done. but had to be close to 25lbs. I took it to the critter grave yard at my neighbors.
  7. Is the Motors, transmission's and frame/chassis the same in them? What are the differences?
  8. You have to ask for Moist Brisket. or the burnt ends. And if they do not know what Moist brisket is they do not know BBQ. The place in House Springs is Company B BBQ. Brisket is pretty good. But I have gotten to know the owners there and they have come to know what I expect. They also have a white potato salad that is very good.
  9. Salt Lick does not usually have them on their menu, but you just ask for the beef rib. Coopers almost always have them also. If coopers has cabrito when you go there or the lamb, you should try them. I am sure you will not be disappointed.
  10. Snagged, The Salt Lick in Driftwood and Coopers in Llano should be on the Bucket list also. Franklin's you should get there around 9am for the 11am opening, because they do sell out. The Salt Lick maybe 20 minutes south southwest of Austin. Bring your own beer, they have soda's and tea. picnic/bench style sitting. Coopers in Llano maybe 50 miles west northwest of Austin. Coopers you pick your meat, they weigh it and you pay for it. Bread, Beans, onions and jalapenos free on each end of where you sit. All picnic/bench style sitting. They have beer, tea and soda's. You will love it.
  11. Ok Guys and Girls. I am from Texas and also Live in Missouri. I have yet to find a BBQ place that actually knows good BBQ. like brisket, sausage, ribs-beef and pork, in St. Louis. In Texas the best is Franklin's in Austin, The Salt Lick in Driftwood, outside of Austin and Coopers in Llano. The thing I really miss is Coopers. Very moist brisket, Thick meaty, tender beef ribs, their sausage is to die for, Cabrito, and their lamb. Best lamb and cabrito I have ever had. Though Franklin's and the Salt Lick are great also. Salt Lick on Sundays has a 32 to 36 oz Prime Rib-bone in, with green bean casserole, unbelievable cold potatoes, Charo Beans, Bread, sweet onions, pickles and pickled jalapeno's. $42.00. Franklins usually sells out before you get what you really want. Any suggestions for a real BBQ house.

  16. What motor do you have in it? And what is the rear-end gear ratio?
  17. I would have hooked it thru the lips and went fishing. Bass Hate them and will almost tear the rod out of your hands, when they hit it. As they are a predator to bass eggs and fingerlings. We use them once in a while when the bass just will not bite, in Texas. They are shipped in from Nebraska and a few bait shops carry them.
  18. We call them water dogs in Texas
  19. What does AFM stand for? I know nothing!!!!!!!!!!!
  20. I have a few questions Looking at possible going back to a Gas burner. Looking at used 2017 up. What should I know about these GMC Sierra's 1500's? What kind of MPG do you get with one.? 21. Yep that is the ones. I looked up the elephant ears and they say poison, in USA. But over in Germany they do eat them with no problems. Every body has their own names for some mushrooms.
  22. If I ever find them again I will take pictures. Were not oyster mushrooms, I am familiar with them. I may have to have my wife dig out my Mushroom book she boxed up with all edibles and not edibles out there and see if I can find them.
  23. What is the true name for these? We use to get them off old dead trees and sometimes on damaged trees. But I no longer find them. Grandmother always loved them and prefered over Morels. Any help appreciated. Thanks
