    Fished Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and half Thursday. Mon. fishing was tough, only 2 keepers-2 to 3 lb range. Tuesday we found a area that was loaded up with bass. Caught 20 fish in less than 2 hours and 8 were keepers, 2 over 4 lbs and a lot of 2 to 3 lbers. Really windy on Tuesday, which caused us to miss several other bites. Wednesday never boated a keeper. Thursday half day, 2 keepers both over 4 lbs. 1 just shy of 5lbs. Maybe 6 shorts. Then came home.

    Seem to boat some bass, Lots of shorts and it is a 13'' lake. Did have 1 or 2 each day that were 2 to 3 lbs. Fish were scattered, really not on the shad chasing thing yet. Nothing in the mid to backs of coves. Jig worked best for me, my partner not so much. He is suffering from CCC disease, Can't Catch Crap.

    Fished for 4 days, Bass. Last week. 1st day 1 keeper and lots of shorts. 2nd day 8 keepers and lots of short fish. 3rd day lots of shorts and 1 keeper. day 4 - 5 keepers and lots of shorts. Keepers on day 4 were 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 lbs. All on jigs and plastics.

    Any one know how highway 7 is? Is the road decent for towing a boat over it.

    Highway 7 from Richland & 44, over to highway 5. How is that road now days? I have not been on it since early 1990's. Have they ever put a shoulder on it and widen it any? Looking to cut over from there or cutting over from Sleeper to 5. Any info about these 2 roads from you locals would really be appreciated. The suicide bridge is OUT on 64 just west of Lebanon. Making another trip to Pomme next week for a couple more days and need a new route, coming down 44 highway. Thanks

    No lunch any longer since covid. We go about once a month. Food and service always great. We go early to get the heck out of St. Louis before dark.

    Fishing was pretty dead on Tuesday caught a few, maybe 8 bass some just barely keepers. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday was different. Boated at least 20 to 25 keepers. Best on Wed., was 3.46, Thursday was 5.67, Friday was 4.89. Quite a few 2 1/2 and 3lb fish on those days. Had good topwater bite on Thursday and Friday. Saturday morning we fished the Bluffs for 3 hours in the morning caught 5 fish and topwater bite was gone. Late report but it is here now.

    I have had to water very little this year. Cut tops of tomatoes back 6 weeks ago and they are now starting to produce lots of green tomatoes again. second batch of green beans, bell peppers, banana peppers and jalapenos going crazy. Bell peppers are 4 1/2 ft tall again this year. Squash is about done, had a worm problem a couple weeks ago. second round of beets going well. carrots are so so.

    Could not remove due to also being in a few lymph nodes down in that area. I got 2 injections first and then a month later, shots was to slow the testosterone down to almost nothing, then a month later started the radiation of the nodes and prostate 5 days a week for 9 weeks. I see the urologist the end of the month for another PSA and testosterone test.

    Yep 5 days a week for 9 weeks straight thru. No misses and no fishing. I am almost a free man again to fish as I please.

    I finish my 45 radiation treatments for the prostate up Thursday the 8th and look forward to going fishing for about 5 days the following week. Any lakes doing better than others or advise would be appreciated. Do not see the Dr until the 30th for another PSA test. Need to get out and go big time
