I think I have been going about this wrong. I was thinking I have better luck on Blue Cats getting my Bait off the bottom. So I tried heavy weight with a Float holding the Bait up. Just thinking why not use a Slip Bobber not only this but many other places. Hey this is only taken 69 years. oneshot

I remember back when Deer Season run through Thanksgiving. Hunted many days in snow. I remember a guy that would wash his Deer out with Brine and pack along skin and bullet holes with salt. Leave it hang all Winter cut off what he needed, repack with salt. I would hand Rabbits with hide on let them freeze. When I wanted a Rabbit skin it,thaw it out and cook. oneshot

I had an old Boar thought it would be bad but wasn't but I cut it soon as I killed it. Skinned it, washed it out and let it hang few hours. That one should have been very good. oneshot

Yes I killed a old Ram one time. My wife said bring the meat home. Took a bite, cooked it up. It was OK until it was in my mouth for a bit. I asked Ted Nugent about it? He said marinade it. Tried that, still nasty. Dogs ate good. oneshot
