Yelp had to get my Trout Permit for the river. Back when I was a kid there was 7 Kids in the Boat on Taney not a Trout Permit one for us. Agent was cool just said we needed one. I still believe some buy Park Permit then fish the river for Trout. oneshot

Oh I put up a Hog, Goat tight Fence. He hated it. Got a neighbor now that tried using my property without asking. I went to a Lawyer. He told me just put up a wire with No Trespassing Signs on it. Did this. We was opening a business here, I thought the wire looked Trashy, so I took down along the Front Yard. Same day got Paperwork saying they was suing for a third of my property. Get this they said I wasn't using it so I might as well give it to them. 🤣 They put up a Privacy Fence on the Line. Now their mad because I won't let them on my side to maintain it. They lowered the Fence along their Back Deck so they could see my Trees. Now their mad because I'm cutting the Trees. Hey I'm nice I planted Osage Orange along the Fence. oneshot

Today cut some Firewood. My wife came home. Lets butcher Chickens. Son came over we separated Chickens. Was heating water and started plucking but had bunch of Pin Feathers. Said the heck with this, lets skin them. So we skinned them. Got half the Chicken House cleaned out. My Son said my Granddaughter wants to go Deer Hunting. I told him I wish I had known this is Youth Season. Told him week before Firearms Deer Season I will put a Blind up behind his House then we'll just hunt there. Told him I have a 30-30 and I think she can handle it. oneshot

Ok wife said they are going to have services this week. Seems he signed bunch of stuff over to a Co Worker. Thing is he needs a Death Certificate to collect and he can't get it. oneshot

Around here the ones that burn do it every year in the Spring. It would be better if they did it every 3 years. The MDC does some burning but mostly Tree thinning or Clear Cutting. oneshot

Yes turned Otters loose and have seen them kill fish just for fun. And for years they thought needed miles of Timber for Turkeys but about the same time they was stocking Turkeys in Northern Missouri and was very surprised at how well they did. Remember seeing thousands of acres of Trees killed, Dozer brought in to clear the hills, then broadcast Fescue Seed. I remember a guy Turkey hunting at Ft. Leonard Wood and was surprised to hear a Turkey Gobble. Me and the MDC has disagreed on many things. I had them come to my Farm I was wanting more Wildlife. Found out later is was a Forester who was more interested in Trees than Wildlife. Finally talked with a Wildlife Managers he was all for controlled burns, which cleared the ground for New growth and brought in more Wildlife. oneshot

Seen guys take 30 Quail out of one covey and still had birds. Never see that again. I set on a ditch by where I use to live with Single Shot .22. Killed my limit of Rabbits in a half hour. oneshot

I know this was 30 years ago but someone I know was hours away from dying and the Hospital was wanting to give him another Chemo Treatment. Me and my wife was talking it over, like me he had 100% Pay Insurance. Guy I know went through Chemo few years ago and had a hard time with it. Cancer has came back much worse, they are hitting him with Chemo even though they are also telling him that it probably won't help. oneshot

Normal foods like Turtle, Deer meat, Wild Greens and such. I was told around here I have problems. I was told because they have City Ways and I have Hillbilly Ways. I was cleaning a Turkey by Glenstone in Springfield. Daughter says Dad what you doing? Oh I'm cleaning a Road Kill Turkey. She says Dang Hillbilly and Hillbilly ways! oneshot

Hey going in my shop or Shed it's an adventure finding stuff I forgot I have. Found two Medium Heavy Fishing Rods I forgot I had bought. Found one and was excited, my wife told me to go back and look, I found the other. Got lost the other day in town. Used GPS to get me lined out. I was going the opposite way I needed to. Buying or Selling anything I have found it best to have another person because I do it on my own I find I have messed up and POed. oneshot

I fished Petite Saline Creek most my younger days. Lived right next to it in a House I rented for $35 a month. But caught mostly Bull Heads and Carp by the house but get closer to the Missouri River catch bigger fish. Fished many other Creeks and Rivers. Some were just holes but would catch fish. Use to wade the Sac river before Stockton Lake was put in, catch many Bass, back when eating them was more common that releasing them. Rented 300 acres. Had a small pond. Caught a Grass Hopper, threw it in the water fish came up a ate it . COOL! Went got my Rod and Reel caught bunch of Channel Cats.. Homeless Man in Springfield caught bunch of Perch out of a Local Creek took them to a woman that threw the fish out because the water was polluted and fixed him a meal. The idea there was fish there. Now I lived next to Bennett Spring State Park and Niangua River. Can catch Trout, Suckers and Goggle Eye for the pan and have plenty. Thing is there is always fish around . Might not be what you want you would like but will do even if it is just Perch. oneshot

You know I use to Bass Fish Creeks. and caught many Bass out of creeks for the most part dried up. But for years I lived on Petite Saline Creek and caught many Big fish in it. Actually I lived off the Creek. oneshot
