  3. Our Son called wanting to know if he could borrow couple Rod and Reels. I told his yes but it dawned on me the Kid really has no interest in Hunting or Fishing. I had Guns and Fishing gear from the time I was a young Kid, that was a way of life, cut plenty Firewood, Big Garden, had plenty Animals to supply us and we Hunted and Fished. It isn't that he wasn't around this but just never had no interest. What I find funny is he wants to heat with wood but never has over a days worth cut. He had a Deer gave to him, his Mom had to show him how to take care of it. oneshot
  4. My Daughter and Daughter in Law are both working for Hospice. Our Daughter is working from Home and a Hospital is wanting her to work there but she is refusing to. oneshot
  5. All mine are considered Short Range. 30-30, Slug Guns and Muzzleloaders. Our Range only goes 100 yards. oneshot
  6. Anyone finding Morels yet? oneshot
  7. Raining and Lightning off and on so no wood cutting. Wanted to go to Town my wife said I don't need to be around Sick People. Water is all up not worth time to fish. Got my Outdoor Life today. Go to the remote areas of Idaho to Bear hunt. My wife says no. Float to better hunting. If I have to paddle it is in Circles, not the best idea. oneshot
  8. Yea Archery Hunting I was wearing Leafy Bug Suites found the Leaves on Pants don't last going through brush. oneshot
  9. They are trying to keep me from getting sick with my Radiation. My Son has stage 4 Lymphoma, he went to Mardi Gras in New Orleans and lives in Springfield. He is in real bad shape but my wife says he is one that I better stay clear of, just call him. oneshot
  10. That was late '60's. Paid for my first Farm with Furs and my Paycheck. My wife paid the Bills. I was running Trap Line and Dogs. Sold to Jack Viers in Fayett, MO. My family started selling to him in 1902. Sprayed my clothes and got my Boots on. Went outside got started and it started Lightning. I'm 66, got married first time at 17. oneshot
  11. Well was called to the Office and Storm went South of us. Was suppose to go to a Conference in August but it was cancelled. We had fun last year. oneshot
  12. Back when Skunks were bringing $3.50 apiece I was trapping a bunch of them and Grinners. Heck Jumbo Coons were bringing $50. oneshot
  13. Ok I have skinned hundreds of Skunks and actually don't find them that bad, But stepping on a Copperhead barefoot isn't fun. Was up under a Pickup one time found my face about a foot from a Rattler in the Wheel Well. oneshot
  14. I went over the Osage below Bagnel Dam and it was running full. Which will make it good for Snaggers. oneshot
  15. I have 3 Cans of that stuff for my Clothes. I didn't use anything and had 3 Ticks on me yesterday. oneshot
  16. Well starting next week my wife is working at home. I worked couple days ago. Went and got Hygiene Kits. Each Box had 35 Kits, $1,000 a Box. Another Guy with us got some more day before yesterday. oneshot
  17. Our Mennonites have two Schools and go to the 8th Grade. The one Teacher I knew was 14. I was surprised one time knew this Guy heavy into Drugs. My Son was running with him. One time I was looking for my Son. Found out where this other Guys Parents lived. Went over there was surprised they were Amish. oneshot
  18. I was staying at our Cabin by Truman Lake hunting. I was there for weeks with no Internet. Had a woman in Minnesota call the Missouri Highway Patrol to find me making sure I was alright because I hadn't been on the Internet. oneshot
  19. Had to laugh one time me and this other guy was selling Logs to the Amish up there. We came in with a load. One of the Guys asked who we talked to? The guy with me said it was a guy with a Beard. Amish POed my Brother in Law up there.Took over his 40 acres to where it isn't safe to hunt his own place. I told my Sister if I was him I would Post the place and run them off. They think our Old Order Mennonites are Amish because they get around with Horse and Buggy. oneshot
  20. For Ticks I have some spray for my Clothes that is suppose to last couple weeks. The Tick that got me was on the back of my Thigh and I couldn't see it just knew I had a problem. Like I say my main problem is pulling Boots on because I can't get ahold of them on one side. I've always liked Boots and have been known to get on to my wife not wearing Boots. oneshot
  21. Got a pair but their hard to get on because I can't get my Feet in because I can't get ahold of the back on one side. I was just wondering if I get MUCK Boots on and Tape around the top it will help with Ticks along with Spraying. Had a bot with MRSA years ago because of a Tick. oneshot
  22. Instead of Cutting Wood today I decided to Garden. I was surprised to see Lowe's open. oneshot
  23. I have problem sliding my Foot in Lace up Boots. Don't have a problem Lacing them. Have a pair of Tennis Shoes I can get on easier. I mainly wear the Boots because of Snakes but the only place I have been struck is by the House. What I'm wondering is would Tennis Shoes be enough in the Woods and out Cutting Wood? My wife says if it's raining or snowing I might as well stay home but there is early morning Frost or Dew. oneshot
  24. I had Raised Beds and Compost Bins. The Guy that bought the place had no understanding. Said he had to take a foot of dirt off to get past what I had done. He complained to the City about my Chickens. They gave me two weeks to get the problem taken care of. Killed all but a few, cleaned up everything. City told him there was nothing they could do. He took Bobcat and moved the Survey Marker and Fence. I wasn't happy. oneshot
  25. Oh Boat would be for Skiing not Fishing. She wanted all meat Packaged like the Store. Camping Where is the Restroom? She couldn't cook but knew the Menu of every Fast Food place. oneshot
