  1. No report today. We opted to stay on TR. We will definitely be spending more time on BS next year.
  2. We canceled the trip to BS today due to the bluebird skies. Ended up on Tr for a few hours once the clouds started showing up. 1st fish came quick and was a 3lb lmb on jerk bait.... it went down hill from there. All in all we had a great week up here! Thanks for the info and good fishing too you all. See you next April! PS My stomping grounds is T-bend and Rayburn. If your making a trip down there find me on texasfishingforum.com aka skeeterusa... I will try to help you narrow down the vast expanse of those lakes....
  3. Maverick.... that hurts! Honestly the rods in the pic are my buddies.... mine are on the other side! Lol. We definitely enjoyed the piece and quite of BS compared to TR even though TR has been horribly choked with boats. We did pretty good on the rock today but gonna finish our week up at BS because of the day we had earlier this week.
  4. Caught 20 or so today. Had a 5-6lber get off right at the boat. Beds everywhere, most single males but did see some pairs. Only caught 1 bed fishing. A black trick worm helped us end the day strong.... Heading back to BS tomorrow!
  5. Yea been looking for a 4lber since last year... this is as close as I've got so far! We had a better day on BS yesterday than we've had on TR to include last year's trip. Probably gonna hit BS again tomorrow or Friday before we head out Saturday.
  6. Sorry didn't get a pic of the big spot or walleye due to operator error... the smb is from TR.... I've been banging my head against the wall try to get these pics attached and the smb ended up in the group. Fyi we put in at tucker....
  7. Just about wore out some jerk baits yesterday. 4lb lmb, 3lb spot, 18in walleye were the biggest! Plus another 30 or so fish. The wind was horrendous we just had to go find fishable water....
  8. The evening jerk bait bite saved our day... The rest of the day was a struggle! Saw teamps upto 68. Caught the majority of our fish in 65 degree water on windblown bluff banks... Heading to bull shoals tomorrow.
  9. Heading up Sunday for a week on TR. Made the trip last year and wanted to try BS but never did. We did ok on TR for 1st timers but thinking about expanding our experience up there. Is anything happening on upper BS? I'm not finding much info...
  10. We are heading up Sunday and will be there for the week. Can anyone give me any idea how the forecasted rain is going to affect the lake? Will it come up much? It was 915 last year when i was up there last year. I'm sure the 80 degree temps next week will help get them going.
  11. I am super stoked to say I am meeting up with my old Army buddy again on the 13th of this month. If we can figure anything out I will let yall know. If you run across a red/white Triton with TX tags swing by for a visit....
  12. Fished the south end today. To say it sucked is an understatement…. The fish didn’t cooperate until 3ish and that is when the suspending rouge shined on wind blown, pea gravel, windy points. Still sucked but at least I caught 4 and didn’t get skunked. We are heading back home in the morning and hope to come back next spring but I think we are going to push it back a week. Good luck and tight lines guys….
  13. Put in at Cape Fare today and did Fair…. Bout 10 less than fabulous keepers. Saw temps up to 60.5. Most came on a green 6th sense/spro RC. 1 on b/b jig.
  14. Pete’s videos have played a big part for me up here. I can’t get bit on red either. Hopefully I will have some kind of report this evening. Thanks for the info Mr. Babler
