  1. Phil, did you go pretty far past the resort? I stopped short of the 86 bridge when we ran into 1 foot of water. We fished our way back to the north and only caught a couple gills on crappie jigs. Would love to put the kids on a handful of crappie. Maybe they’re up there and just weren’t eating…
  2. I ran up there today with the kids. Could hardly buy a bite. Caught two whites yesterday, none today. No bass either. Table Rock handed it to us.
  3. 3rd for Huff, pretty good. Tough day 3. Wonder if he tried switching things up. We took the skunk on Table Rock today, so he did a lot better than me.
  4. Thanks, Steve.
  5. Fished the Kings today with the kids. Caught two LMB, two spots and two striped bass. No keepers. Biggest was 14 3/4”. All fish caught on A-rig or swim bait in 10-15 fow. Kids got lots of snags, but the fish wouldn’t eat unless it was moving slow. Any tips for finding some bigger fish? Nice day to be out
  6. If you guys had to shade to the AM or PM next week with some cooler weather on the way, which one would you pick? The wife and kids want to do some other stuff, so I might have to bob and weave a bit. Thanks
  7. Biglerma, how far up the King’s would you go for crappie? We’re staying near Arrow Point next week and I was going to try up by Shell Knob. Is it better to go further south instead? Just trying to get the kids on some fish. Thanks
  8. What is FFS? Btw, happy birthday Lvn2Fish (just noticed that on the feed) 7.8 is a toad! 🐸
  9. Amen to that!
  10. Hahaha 😂 I can’t wait to get out there… WI is not the place to be for March bassin’. I’d take 14” K’s all day!
  11. Thanks Dockit. Are you running mono or fluoro on the 6 and 10#? Also, anybody throwing a A-rig at all?
  12. Thanks guys, this is great advice. I really appreciate it.
  13. Thanks again. On the 1/4 oz jigs, does the under spin make much difference? Assuming same colors are good for the Ned? I’m be sure to report back everyday, starting 3/23.
  14. Bill, thanks for the tip. I’m bringing my kids down (all six, ages 14 to 6) next Friday for a week to fish on TR. Sounds like swim baits might be the best way to go. Any suggestions on Keitech 2.8 vs 3.3 and color choices? Also, I have 1/8 and 1/4 swim jigs, but no underspins, does that matter a lot? I don’t care too much about size, just want the kids to have some action. I also bought a couple A-rigs to try. We’re staying in the Kings near Arrow Point, but don’t mind trailering the boat if that would be best (clear vs stained, etc.) Thanks for any advice you would be willing to give us. First time fishing Table Rock. Matt Ps. We wouldn’t mind any advice on the crappie too, if you are so inclined. I heard the Shell Knob area is a good place to start. Thanks!
