Thanks mobass for the detailed report. I am finally done with the whites for the year and planning on going tomorrow with my boy and one of his friends. Hope we can catch a few to keep them interested. Think I might throw the stick some, but will have them on the grubs. If you dont mind, was the bites light or aggresive? Hope they can feel the fishy fishy's.

Im curious. Do you alwasy have to have a permit to sink brush? and whats the best way to recieve one. I have two places I would like to put some but havent messed with it yet.

Great report, thanks eric. I have a question for you pro's. Where did the stick bite go? Seems it didnt ever really start this year. Was it because of the massive shad kill, I would have thought that the kill would have helped.

Night Fishing Blacklights

I love buying local and I found a wonderful source for blacklights. http://tablerockblacklights.com/ Jerry has some nice looking lights. Aluminum Frames, 3 year warranty on most of the light including the lenses. He was wonderful to deal with, and is trying to get business from the area. Give him a look if your in the market for a new light. -
We need to make a big sign to put in aunts creek. No fishing allowed, by order of Techno. Caught 4 last night near Indian Point on grubs, shallower than I expected. Dennise, your spot is amazing right now also...

went out of capefair marina last night for a quick trip. 3 hours. 2 fish on a wart, real shorts. 2 fish on a jig, one 2.5lb I think. slow afternoon but good time out. -

Id be up for that, nothing else to meet everyone. Not like I could hold a candle to some of the boys on here. But there would be a lot to putting it together, Id help for anything needed. Back on subject, Anyone decide on what we need to do to identify each other and Ill follow suit.

Eric, what about the water temps? Ive been mumbling all weekend that now I have to deal with an inch rain run-off that is 34 degrees. I hope it dont put them back anouther couple weeks.

Eric, wrong kind of attention. But Im with everyone else. Recently fished right next to anouther member, could have casted into his boat. Did not know until a day or so later. I like the idea of colored tape on the front seat post and on the trolling motor.

Love my new ranger. One thing Id like to do is clean up the clear coat. It has a foggy or milky look to it in some areas. Does anyone know what would clear that up so that I can wax it? Thanks

Danny, dont feel bad. Its like that all over when the rivers fill with the whites. Dont matter if theres only a couple boats on the water, catch a few and here they come. I dont fish like that, gets on my nerves too.

Quillback, Im with ya 100%. Worked harder on jobs this week than I have since last fall. Nothing planned all weekend, its not fair....

nope, only other boat was down at longs camp. was a nasty day thou, watched graph and didnt hit any bills that I noticed. Rain and sun, rain and sun, rain and sun.

Bill, james was 49 today. Real real slow, gave up when the rain came in. good luck, hope the temp comes up myself.

Went just below blunks this morning. 2 whites in an hour. they are there but the cold snap sure slowed the bite. Good luck in the morning, after a day or two of warm sunshine they will turn on again.

Wonderful seminar. thanks to lilley and mike. still have a few questions but im working on them as we speak. Free was wonderful, but the cost of a new unit might make up for the difference....
