Fished from 10-5:30 from big M to Roaring River, stopped counting at 15, all caught on spinner and jerk bait. Had 7 keepers. Found water temp 56-60.

Bill Is that spinner bite on flats or steeper stuff?

Fished club tournament today caught 10 total 8 keepers, best 5 weighed 14.40 4th heavy stringer per individual. Caught them on A rig and jerk bait. Water was 49-52.

Yes they did, quite tasty dinner last night for me and my son. Funny thing, I saw a bass come up and make a wake chasing a shad in a creek I was fishing, coolest wake I've ever seen one make. Only happened one time, threw the megabass at him, but no luck, I would say he caught up to what he was chasing. 15 was a good number, but I really expected better with the weather we had. I was a little disappointed in that, but it was still a good day. I don't know if I am going to say this correctly, but secondary pts. with wind produced, and what I am going to call channel swing runouts where it gets flat. But only one of those produced fish for me, 3 others did not. Sometimes they eat, sometimes they don't I guess.

Fished from 8-4:00 caught 15 with 3 keepers mostly on jerk bait, a couple on wart. Water temp was 47-50. Got fortunate and had 2 keeper walleye and a keeper crappie on jerk bait. Lost a couple on jerk at the boat that were decent but pulled off. Saw Champ today and got to visit. Hope you had better success than me.

One quick question. Is the transition you speak about just bank transitions?

Still 6" visibility but different kind of color than it was 3 weeks ago.

For me just easier to go crank than fish the abyss I know the outcome can be frustrating at times but I just don't know enough about those type of transitions time spend the time looking. Tried 2 weeks ago at big m, never had a bite. Great info though bill. Unfortunately I was one of those get on a bank and go till yourun into one.

Fished from 9-2 caught 7 with 6 keepers cranking a wart and rk. Water temp was 46-50 depending where I was at. Fished baxter to big Creek.

Ben call Jeff Fletcher for a guide trip, one float trip with him will extend years of knowledge for future trips. Money well spent.

Fished Saturday around Big M with A rig,never got a bite. Funny deal.

Fished 4 out of last 5 days and all I can say is I'm terrible. Did not fish Sunday. Fished shell knob to kings to Campbell point and could not get on anything. Caught 4 keepers in 4 days. A few on jerk, rk and shaky head nothing on swim bait or a rig. Just could not get on anything. Water temp was 54-55.

Fished in the weather today thought it would be decent but was wrong. Caught 10 mostly on crank RK and one on spinner. 2 keepers. Water temp was 57-58.9

We do have some stripers above Holiday Island, I know a friend of mine was up there this summer and witnessed a striper chase a bass toward his boat, watched the bass go under come up and break the surface on the other side to eventually be eaten by the striper, said it was an awesome sight. So, I hope we see nothing of a stocking program.

Fished full day today out of Shell Knob, water temp. was 67 caught some early on spinner, one good keeper out of a cedar, had few out of cedars, but too many cedars with nothing. Had 2 more on both good ones threw spinner at the boat. Caught one on whopper it was over 4, and 2 more on buzz off of wood. 4 keepers and about 20 total. It was tough although some may not think it, but I worked hard to get those bites, they were few and far between. All keepers in the boat were blacks, all at 3 or over. So for 4, had good weight.

Sorry to hijack this report but can't get my phone to find the start new topic. Fished from Big M to mouth of kings with my 17 year old. Caught somewhere around 35 from noon to 4. Had 6 keepers all on shallow cranks. All fish came in very shallow water.

Fished club tournament caught a limit on a spinnerbait that weighed 10.39. Caught a lot of fish, as did everyone. Most everyone caught them shallow as you can guess. Did not see many floating fish, water had cooled down to 80.8 according to my graph. Bite slowed for me when the wind shifted and the old sun poked its head out. Good luck when you get to go.

Saw the ones at big Saturday one crappie rest were big gizzards.
