  1. If your goal is to mask the flavor, might as well use tofu. I don't mean to say I would take a grilled leg of lamb over a good steak or even some bbq chicken, but as far as lamb is concerned, grilled is the way to go. It's a lot better than you may be thinking. As far as Wagyu, its out of my tax bracket.
  2. Lamb is the bomb grilled!
  3. Well less than 200 total yards between them. Not near the difference the media is portraying.
  4. So what. They are only up by 3. So that makes Mizzou more efficient.
  5. If I wasn't watching this I would assume Mizzou was down by 40 and being totally dominated!
  6. Could those two homos in the booth be pulling any harder for Auburn?
  7. I can't stand to wear any type of glove when fishing. Since it is not hands but my fingers that get cold, those fingerless gloves are counter productive for me. If the fingers get so cold that they start to hurt, I do a couple of different things. A couple of them you will laugh at but it really works quickly and that is what I am after. Depending on the type of fishing I am doing and how I am dressed, one option I use is to run my hands up under my shirt into my armpits. Press your arms against them and they will warm quickly. If I have waders on, I will run them down my pants. Laugh all you want the area between your thighs is very warm and in about 1 minute my hands are as warm as they can be and ready to go again. Ok, let the jokes, sneers and jeers fly. I can take cause I got warm hands!
  8. You certainly are not required to shoot an antlerless deer.
  9. Pay up
  10. We should go get a Meer's burger!
  11. I spent my 5 years in that area. Don't care to do that ever again. Visit, yes. Move in again, never!
  12. The biggest mistake in frying a squirrel is frying it to long. We fry it as long or longer than we do chicken and it is a 1/4 of the size at best. It doesn't take near as long to fry as you think. If you will cut back on your frying time, it will be super delicious and a lot more tender than you ever thought. And for goodness sakes, use nothing but cast iron!!
  13. That is the cheapest I have seen then. Still a little higher than the fees store. Maybe it was some leftovers from last year. Ha ha. I just gave that for 50lb of crimped to feed the girls. Whole is about a buck less. But it doesn't come in a designer camo bag though. Good luck this season. Post some pics!
  14. I have yet to figure out why people buy "deer" corn. It's 10 pounds per bag lighter and about $5 more.
  15. They will stock more. No biggie.
  16. I am pretty sure they still do??? I thought I still saw the occasionally in the last few years??
  17. The best boat I have rode in, and I have rode in a ton of them, is a 17' Royalex . They carry everything I need for me and or the family whether I'm on the water for a day or three. They are easy to control and practically turn on a dime. Almost impossible to sink and very comfortable to be in for multiple hours. They can handle pretty rough water. Will run in ankle deep water and can bounce off structure. Are lite weight and can provide instant shelter should you get caught in a pop up storm. Yep, a canoe is the best bass boat ever built
  18. I love using a Scout. Although I don't throw it near like I used to. My dad turned on to them when I was still tagging along with him. These are still made today by Strike King. This is one plug I actually like to put the skirt on the rear treble. The wobble gives it a super action.
  19. Actually Wrench, I do know some people that hunt squirrel with a .32 cal muzzle loader. And that very well could have been what they were doing.
  20. As far as I am concerned, it's just salt and pepper for me. Cooked to a nice medium rare.
  21. Another thing on those Peck's, all the guides added a trailer hook. On the trailer the would add a flat strip of Uncle Josh pork rind that they sliced nearly in two to make a split tail.
  22. I'm sure they did as well as others. Jim also ran a tackle store for his clients and locals. He sold a ton to his clients. I'm not sure just what the Hawk looked like. Ted never described what it looked like.
  23. I keep telling you to use the quill type!
  24. I read right over that.
