    But it is ok to limiting freedoms of everybody else as long as you have no restrictions to purchase a grenade launcher? I don't have any trouble with steel. Niether does CD. Only reason to have a cripple is bad aim. Or you get to excited and shoot out of range.

    Well, I guess I just don't think you pour gas on fires expecting to suddenly go out. I contribute, its just not what you want to hear. So you want armed guards at all schools? Are you just going to have one per building or one at every door? Metal detectors? How do they stop someone that just busts right in? You want unions to pay for it? Why should they? Felons are not supposed to have guns either. How are you going to stop mental cases from getting them?

    You are aware that there at one time, not really so long ago, no such thing as DWI? You are aware that check points are very infrequent? Meaning most departments run less than a dozen per year? You are aware they did limit how much you can indulge and still operate a vehicle? You are aware they decided how old you have to before you can obliterate yourself from consciousness? You are aware that before you can enforce an exsiting law, you have to first make it a law?

    That 40 minutes of hell wasn't working so good the last year he was there. But yeah, stick with what you think works. At some point you have to have control. Make you wonder where Mizzou would have been if Haith would have had those same players.

    Whooops. Didn't mean to sound so hostile. I was just thinking and typing at the same time. Bottom line really though, I think we have waited to long to do anything. If there is anything we could do. I can see the need for something to be done, but we have zealots on both sides that will kick, scream, and cry all the way. I just don't see us ever coming together on this issue. I love the DWI analogy. No we have not stopped DWI's. No will not ever stop DWI's. No matter what you do. But, can you say that lives have been saved by making stricter DWI law's?

    And niether will your ideas. 1. And just how would this have stopped any of the mass shootings? 2. For a citizen that hates taxes, maybe you can get your NRA to fund it. Don't know how metal dectectors would have stopped the last one. 3. And just what laws were going to enforce to stop the shootings? If this were the case, we wouldn't need prisions, would we? 4. Are you going to force evereyone to take the course? How does this stop shootings? 5. It has?

    You ought to make friends with the dogs. Toss the collars in the creek and then give them a ride a mile or two down stream. Wave adios and laugh your butt off as you picture the owner thinking standing there scratching his noggin wondering.

    Your right he did leave on his own. The extra curricular activities that were alleged to have happened were just that, alleged. I think his demise was a team that always choked when it came to the game that took you closer to the big dance. But now they just choke at every game.

    Let me redo this. Seasoned pan seared breast of duck on a bed of wild rice. baked pasta with creamy cheese sauce(mac & cheese) or choice of pasta with herbed tomato sauce. (elbow mac with mater sauce and touch of chili seasoning) pan seared seasoned potato's with caramelized onions diced peppers.(fried taters and onions with some green bell peppers tossed in) Yeah, I like that. It does sound better!

    I don't know how you like your Blackeyed peas but about the easiest and best way I like is to simply saute some diced onion and bacon. Amounts depend on amount of peas you are cooking. After the onions and bacon are done, pour off into the pot of peas and simmer to perfection. I can eat them year round. As far as the Blackeyed are concerned, I like the frozen type but canned works fine. And to make this duck worthy, we enjoyed some delicious, skillet fried breast yesterday that were just simply salt and peppered.

    Montana was a good QB before KC. He just couldn't get it done anymore and that is why KC got him. Marty Schottenheimer should have never been fired. That was the begining of KC's down fall.     I see your point. On the flip side, it wasn't caught in a trout pond. I guess I am kinda on the fence on something like this. On one side, trout are not from here, so should any record count? But then, it is a record and was not caught in a captive, protected park. It did have to survive on its own and probably grew some. Can't say what I would have done. Both choices are commendable.
