Was at Barclay down on the Gravel Bar. Dang Turtle tried eating my fish. I caught it with Net and cut its Head off. Was walking back up to the Pickup with my wife. Agent jumps out of the brush. What you got there? 4 Trout and a Turtle. That is a Alligator Snapping Turtle. OH don't give me that BS it's a Common Snapping Turtle, there is no Alligator Snapping Turtles in this river, they are in SE Missouri. Oh their all up and down this river. Then he starts looking in his Book. Well maybe it is a Common Snapping Turtle and since you are going to eat it I'm going to let it slide the way you caught it. Told him if he felt I needed a Ticket write one. No I'm not. Told him again if I did anything wrong write me a dang Ticket. Then my wife told me to shut up. Got to talking with him found he had just got out of school and they didn't teach him about Turtles. oneshot

I had an Agent want to give me a Ticket down at Barclay for catching and killing a Snapping Turtle. oneshot

I was fishing outside the Park casting towards the bridge and was given a Warning by the Park Ranger in Winter when the Park was closed. oneshot

I was looking at the hole upstream from the ramp and was thinking of getting there with Prop Motor on left side of the riffle. Just not sure it is deep enough there. oneshot

Yelp I remember back in the '60's, go in Doze Timber and plant everything in Fescue. I've made bunch of money off Fescue but hate what it has done to Quail and Rabbits. Use to be there was two different types of Dogs. Hunting Dogs and Worthless Dogs. Didn't matter breed. oneshot

Seems from reading some areas Bream is the go to fish. Use to be that is what kids fished for but seems some areas it is the Adults that fill their Baskets with Bluegill and Redear. oneshot

What gets me is some are thrown back and a person catches them on Rod and Reel there is Gig holes. I do catch a lot of Small Mouth even if they are not my target. oneshot

Too many Suckers have been Gigged. My wife says no sense in Gigging get plenty just fishing for them. I caught 3 Small Mouth but turned them back because I didn't want them. If I even get half the Limit it is way too many for us. Caught 10 and we fried up enough for a meal didn't put a dent in them. Actually it wouldn't be that hard to catch 100 of them but I'm tied up with Doctors and don't need them. oneshot

Every time I would go to Ontario, CA a party was one phone call away. Well it was the same with Denver, CO. oneshot

Thing is with Gigging it takes so many Suckers that some enjoy just fishing for. Why don't they just allow Gigging the so called Game Fish like Small Mouth Bass? Plenty of them. oneshot
