  1. Wow those are good looking. Love the Spro eyes on their hard baits.
  2. Tim Hughes does great work and certainly knows the colors that work on Table Rock. I had Tim as a guide a number of years ago on Table Rock and he put us on the fish. Dale Sellers does a good job as well but has retired from lure painting.
  3. Thanks for the report. Sounds like a fun day on the Rock. Let's hear about Champ's secret bait!
  4. Well done Champ. The old Bandit 200 will still catchem.
  5. Happy birthday Champ and many more.
  6. Wow! Very nice.
  7. Vey nice.
  8. Thanks for posting. Watched them all.
  9. Nice to hear they are liking a wart.
  10. I'm also a Shimano C1-4 and Stradic fan. They have performed great with no problems thus far, including when they are wet.
  11. I feel your pain as I just had the same thing happen to me. Over 30 years with State Farm with very few claims. I had two claims in 7 years on my boat totaling $4000 and they cancelled effective this month. My agent said there was not much he could do about it. He could protest the cancellation but said he has not had any success doing so. I got on the Bass Boat Central Boat insurance forum and there were numerous recommendations for Bob Luellen and WorldWide Marine. His number is 517-627-8080. I now have more coverage at half the cost of State Farm. Bob is very thorough and helpful and Is also a tournament fisherman that knows what a trolling motor and HDS unit are. Good luck.
  12. A restaurant Johnny Morris has been remodeling for numerous years. Just up the road from Big Cedar Lodge.
  13. Has anyone heard when it will finally open?
  14. I like 10lb braid with 6-8 ft. fluro leader. I normally use Seaguar 8 lb for the leader. Works great.
  15. Thanks for the heads up.

A podcast you can download and play on your iPod, iPad, smart phone. Would be great to listen to in the SUV heading to the lake or whenever your computer/laptop are not accessible. I have Mr. Bablers stickbait seminar on my iPod and one on fishing Table Rock. Having said that, I have no idea how to set up as a podcast.
  17. Well said Champ. I do enjoy the videos and especially Pete Wenner's. Pete normally qualifies his video with a statement regarding when he was on the water last. I appreciate that and thus have more confidence in the report. Just tell it like it is. If the fishing is tough then say so. This is a great forum and a joy to spend time on.
  18. Happy Birthday Bill. Like fine wine, getting better with age.

  20. I don't see the link either. I am on my iPad.
  21. Stacey King and Brian Snowden can be added to the list.
  22. Happy New Year everyone.
  23. Thanks Champ. That's what I thought on the rod. I had the pleasure of spending all day fishing stickbaits with Bill a few years ago and I remember him telling me he still used mono. I have just been too hard headed to try it. Funny because that's all I used years ago prior to fluro and seemed to do well fishing the old reliable Rogue. I got on flurocarbon years ago when the new generation of stickbaits came out like the Pointers, McSticks and Megabass 110. Time to turn back the clock and see what happens.
  24. Champ: Are you referring to the 6'6" medium Duckett crankbait rod or the other 6'6" Duckett? After reading the PAA article and hearing from you and Mr. Babler, I am going to spool up mono for stickbaits this year. Thanks for everyone's input and Merry Christmas.
  25. Also, anyone tried the Megabass 110 plus?
