  1. Not a bean counters car for sure..,sometimes you need to get to your spot FAST!
  2. They still make chargers 5.7 hemi mine was an 07 it not THAT far in the past, when you have decades of life experience to draw from, but hey sure you can ask your parents for some vape $ & and a ride to GameStop
  3. Perhaps I know of at least 2 old dams removed here, one mill dam on spring river and was told one on center creek, I hope the save the snail darter crowd leaves Missouri alone, but years from know who knows what political will will be in charge?
  4. Somewhere I have a pic of me driving mine with my chihuahua on my arm looking out the window, put 75k miles on that one, I always had a love affair with muscle cars, had a few 73 challenger, 75 Camaro, 83 camaro...I blame my mom for it she had a 66 nova super sport 327 and a glide she would need to “air out the carburetor “ and blast across the big creek dam on the way to my grannies, took my drivers test in a GS powered 70 455 Buick wagon, dad always had the biggest baddest engine in anything he drove, 454 four speed 73 Chevy truck he pulled the camper with so see if I can dig out old pics
  5. Someone told me here they are not tearing out dams 🤔🙄
  6. And the sound of that hemi v8 is well... awesome, the car handles great and is comfortable on a trip but hey haters gonna hate
  7. Take a good look this the only thing you will see when you take on the hemi #moparbaby
  8. Tesla rates the Model S 100D as being able to drive 514 miles at 45mph on a single charge. Tesla's latest car, the mass-market targeted $35,000 Model 3, is rated as being able to travel 215 miles per charge as standard or up to 310 miles with an extended range battery option, which costs more. Now if you are flooring the go petal far less range...one 1/4 mile blast and if you don’t recharge each run gets progressively slower can’t go at speed from Dallas Joplin on a single charge put put at 55 perhaps, one pump chump car until they fix the energy reserve issues
  9. I call BS...here is a stripped down Tesla losing to a hellcat/demon only advantage it has is off the line and that’s with a full charge, at from 90 to 100 up testa fades quick,
  10. Sometimes ripping cross country is can be fun, used to make runs to San Antonio from south west Missouri many times and to Mobile/Florida panhandle over the years my best time to SA was 9hrs 20 minutes in what should take 12 - 13 hours in a hemi Dodge Charger and got 22 miles per gallon... powerful fun to drive cars are not for everyone, just like “dating”* women who make a living dancing for dollars. you can drive a Prius, date fuggly chicks, vote for the green new deal people and that’s your right, but remember how many environmental end of the world caca that has come and gone remember the hole in the Ozone? whens the last time you saw any of that on the news? So some if not most of us like eating steaks, not blowing money to just look like we are doing something about uncontrollable changes in weather we have a saying here in the Ozarks “ Don’t pee down my back and tell me it’s raining”
  11. Once batteries get better for range they will become dominate, yet today if you want to go from main to LA at speed I’ll take a charger or a vette any day, in fact I’d be there days before any testa, once you can transmit power wirelessly the combustion engine becomes moot reminds me of an old Rush song
  12. Tesla = walk home when you run outa battery or road trip 4 hours in any direction then 24hours charge to get another 185 miles, not my choice for a manly road trip
  13. This new rule should help the walleyes and smallies
  14. I completely understand many do not, striped bass, trout, hybrids Muskie are all non natives people love to catch, brown trout, LM bass are on the worlds most invasive list, yet an orchid in a wheat field is a weed to the farmer,,, unfortunately Us settlers changed things many nativists want to tear out all the dams, lose some good fishing here in the Ozarks if they get their way
  15. To many the thought of a trophy water for carp is a mental image of a sewers, yet polluted waters get Calle carp water because the hardiest fish like common carp can live there when other fish can’t, one reason they where imported and stocked by the feds on purpose over 140 Years ago, the best big carp waters in the USA also produce huge bass, lake fork Texas, Lady bird in Austin, Dalehollow in TN, and the CT river in Connecticut. These are all waters where 20 plus pound carp are common and fish to 50 are caught with regularity 10s of billions are spent world wide in the chasing of common carp as a sport fish in the EU alone and has been growing here over the last 25 years. On a nutshell common carp fishing is big business and it was only a matter of time here. I have many threads debating to ad nausium on all issues that even touch the common carp question just google it on this forum and you can see all the threads on the subject complete with links videos and reference material Enjoy! As a note the push on the use of carp in concrete is the Asian carp not commons
  16. Buff are really good eating
  17. In 2020 7 more states will enact length and bag limits on common carp and 3 of those states will have designated trophy carp waters 😎
  18. Last but not least grapes of wrath
