Fished from Emerald Beach down towards the Kings on Tuesday and found a deep dock with surfacing spots, caught 13 with 3 keeper size all on Champs WE spinnerbait in mouse. It will get better.Fog really hampered our movement. Good fishin, Duck.

Hire Bill Babler for a half day and tell him what you want to learn, he is a hell of a good teacher. My brother in law and I used him and it was WELL worth the money.His knowledge of depth finders and spotting fish is second to none. Good fishing, Duck.

Quill, it is crazy here at HI where the lake narrows down, the wakers are tearing it up. I can't understand why, even if they are not pulling boards behind them why they have to see how much wake they can put out, I watched a 18 foot Tracker almost get swamped yesterday. They must have a bunch of $$$ to spend on fuel going that slow. Be safe, Duck.

RPS, you are a brave soul. I looked out my front window at 8 am and the lake was getting crowded here at HI. At 2 pm I drove over to Eagle Rock Marina and could not believe the trailer there. I think it is going to be VERY busy for the next few weeks, be careful to everyone. Duck

I drove over to Sweetwater today and through Arrow Point, what views I could see of the river was nothing but debris and MUDDY water. It may be the worst I've seen in a long time. No way to safely navigate up there. Duck.

Hats off to Shumaker's Battery Outfitter, I had a year old plus battery that did not take a charge well so I stopped by with the boat and within 15 minutes they had installed a new one for free, not a question, and I was out of there. What nice and honest people. Good fishin, Duck.

In at Holiday Island at 8:30 and ran our milk run up the White to Blue Spring, did not catch any, did not graph any, caught 3 trout trolling. We started back down and found 19 real nice whites on one flat, they are not spawned out, big fat females. Water temp 56 at HI and then goes down steady to 45 up river. All whites caught on A-rigs with Berkley Pogy Swimmin Shad in shad color. Man was it WINDY. Sorry we were not around to help you RPS, hope all worked out. Good fishin, Duck.

Left Holiday Island and headed up river. Before Beaver the debris fields began and lasted pretty much up to Rock House where it got clear enough to run, We could only fish half of our spots because of all the crap. Ended up with 5 nice whites, 1 short crappie and spot, and two 14 inch trout. Got a good soaking on our way back to marina . Be very careful up that way it is really dangerous. Water temps 45-47. Fished RR yesterday afternoon and only caught 1 keeper size white and 5 real small dinks. Water temp was 55..It won't be long if the weather holds, Good fishin, Duck.

In at Viney creek at 10 off at 2:30, Total of 7 spots, 4 keepers size and all on a Ned with PBJ plastic. Water temp 40-41. All fish came off main lake shores with timber. Strong wind started at about 1 and made it hard to fish Ned. Air temp was 72 when we got off, not bad for Jan.28th . I think we saw Quill but not sure. Good fishin, Duck.

Hey guys, stop by most Federal Recreation sites and get a The National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands Pass for seniors ( must be 62)(lifetime) at a cost of $10 and the annual COE lake pass is $15. Also your car full gets into any National park free and lots of other stuff is 50% off. You can get one at Pea Ridge Nat. Battlefield in Garfield Ar. or Wilson Creek Nat. Battlefield in Republic, Mo. Make sure you get the one I said, there are others for seniors that are not as good. You can google it and read more. Duck. -

Took my bride for a boat ride to see the colors thinking the dumb as---- would be off the water, WRONG, when will boaters learn to drive on the right side of the channel? My bride says it it the " my boat is bigger than yours so I can do what I want" attitude. I had to almost come to a stop 3 times for these guys, when I threw up my arms in discuss 2 gave me the finger. Its getting worst not better. OK I vented, what a beautiful weekend. Take care, Duck.
