    2/18

went out of mutton creek and fished for bass, we had 9 keepers but they were just keepers. jerk baits and tubes and pretty shawllow. we also caught 3 shad about 1lb each and yes they had the hooks inside the mouth, 1st time Ive seen that
  16. why does everyone use abbreviations, seems like spelling things out is becoming a lost art. sorry for the rant but sometimes it can be confusing when everything is abreviations LOL. oopsw I mean laughing out loud
  17. yep/ or the spro if you can't fi d the rc stx, and if I was limited to 3 it would be the ones champ showed
  18. those are some grea looking fish and blk and blue and green pumpkin are very hard to beat. congrats on your success

  20. watson spoke at our club meeting on 2/7, very informative and enjoyable, he grew up in aurora and his dad is bill watson I,m sure some of the old timers here recognize that name, he also fished in his younger years with terry thomas and mentioned other names like lefty evans and bobby sullavun, some of the great sticks of years past
  21. listen to ketchup, aint no bass left in pomme, the only bass left in this part of missouri are in table rock
  22. club derby out of aunts creek, my partner and I went up to pinney, we only had 3 small keepers, 1 on a wart and 2 on a grub. the heavy boat was 16 lbs they went over a school of deep fish work shad and spooned them. we saw the same thing on the graph at 59 fow in the edge of the creek channel but too dumb to stop and fish them. there wasnt a single jb or a rig fish caught. the lesson here is PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR ELECTRONICS and do what they are telling you. water temps upper 40's
  23. I have an older diawa 5'6" pistol grip that was sold as a topwater rod, works fantastic for a jb and you can make a spook do what it is supose too. the saying they don't make em like they use too is true
  24. started it off right and went fishing, didn't catch anything but was much better than sitting at home
