  1. If you get mad at your best Red Fin and want to punish it, go find a big brown girl on a bed, swim it over the top of her and watch what happens. Your Fin will never speak to you again.
  2. Was in Big Clifty on Tuesday afternoon and it was 44-46. Prob a smidge warmer by now.
  3. Bill, we may have to put him on the banned list along with Denny.
  4. You guys sling those Warts all you want. Got my own medicine for those muddy-water bank dwellers. May or may not have blades on it.
  5. Bigmo, two suggestions when you see them chasing the Wart like that ... 1. Slow it down. So many people unknowingly fish a Wart too fast. Truth is, you really can't fish one too slow in mid-40s water temps. I'm close friends with a guy who is widely considered the best in NW Arkansas with a Wart and he's known to add SuspenDots in really cold water in order to fish it slower. Like Dave Barker, he'll drag it with his rod, take up the slack, and repeat. 2. You might want to consider changing colors. Sometimes they will slap at or follow a bait when the color is not quite right, and once you figure out the right color, they'll hammer it. Just a couple of suggestions.
  6. OK, I give up ... talk about comparing apples and rutabagas ... how did we jump from boat slip vandalism to dock fishing? I simply stated that the new fellow might not want to leave his boat in a slip and risk damage to/loss of his hard-earned property. But you do bring up a good point. Table Rock's docks hold a lot of bass for those skilled enough at casting to get .into th nooks and crannies where they hide.
  7. Good day, guys. Great of you to meet up and go together. Alex, put my dadgum fish back and leave her alone. That's Mable. I've been catching her once a year for 5 years now. I recognize her by her right eyeball. LOL
  8. Very nice report. Thanks for sharing it. Ain't it nice to be able to get bit as opposed to 2-3 weeks ago?
  9. Numbers and registration are gonna cost a whole lot less than replacing stolen/vandalized equipment from leaving your boat in a slip. You can read for hours on end right here on this forum about the risks involved with that. Save the money you'd spend on a slip, trailer your boat and you'll be glad you did.
  10. You might want to check with the plant at Flippin. They have their own upholstery shop and do lots of original replacement seats. I've heard some great things about the work.
  11. Gotta agree with ya there, CHAMP. Love to feel that "tick" when they bite it.
  12. No fish in Grand. They all died. Move along, please.
  13. Have several of the pros and love them. Where reels are concerned, you usually come out ahead spending a bit more money when choosing between two models. The bigger the price, the smoother the reel.
  14. 300 fish in 4 hours?
  15. Exactly what I have heard multiple times over the years. Well said, wrench.
  16. LOL, dang right. Good one.
  17. You are right, BB. Tough to handle that little stuff in my big hands and getting tougher the blinder I get. Actually, I might have asked your buddy to help except she was busy with other issues all her own. She'll have to tell you about her day. All I'm gonna say is I've never seen anyone blow up a Lew's Tournament Series twice in one day.
  18. Grand is beyond tough. Ready for things to bust loose.
  19. The fish came from a portion of Table Rock Lake that happens to lie within Arkansas. Done and done.
  20. You mean to tell me you have the jewels to throw the words "big" and "ugly" in someone else's direction? LOL
  21. My first Ned fish ever, caught last Saturday. Count me a convert.
  22. Ah, my good man, but like you ... I have NED now. Beaver just got lots easier! LOL
  23. QB uses a green pumpkin tube, not watermelon. Absolute world of difference. That had to be your problem. I just know it!
  24. Good job, QB. Get all of those little ones out of the way before me and Donna get back up there this weekend. Actually, we may go to Beaver to see if we can find some for our next Everett derby. Not sure yet.
  25. There's a ramp at the foot of the 76 bridge right next to Peach Orchard.
