Speaking of ruining steaks, where in this area can you get a decent Chicken Fried Steak??? Anyone?? The last several I have tried would get that establishment burned to the ground if they tried to serve something like that in south Oklahoma.
Well get over it numbnuts. We went out Saturday night and she ordered a steak, well done, and smothered it with Country Bobs. Said it was very tasty and she was very happy. If that makes her happy then I'm good.
In the late 80's early 90's my dad was a bit of a gitzit guru on Stockton. He caught tons of smallmouth on those things. I was never even close to being as good as he was with them. But he would pop them off the bottom and let them float back down to the bottom watching for that line to do something different on the fall. He had some success dragging them around too.
That timing don't look good for me. One trip booked, couple of kids birthdays, end of BB season, a concert. My life gets chewed up quick. But If I can I will be.
Slice off a piece about a half inch thick and put it on a bun. Pile it up with pulled pork and some sauce. And that’s a NFOWich.
Or put that slice in the bottom of a bowl and cover it with this chipotle bisque that @Harps makes.
You really can’t screw up smoked bologna.
Unless you put it in an insta pot.
Not picking on you RPS but this is something I have never understood. Whose place is it for anyone to tell another how they want their steak cooked? Or what is acceptable to put on it? Or any other food for that matter.
Thanks Marty.
Here's a link to details about the cookbook. The pecan-orange granola is actually listed as one of the sneak peek recipes down at the bottom. I'll be giving that a try.

Drove over the James yesterday on the way to a BB game and it looked so beautiful. The flow is perfect, the color is awesome, man is it freaking cold outside. That didn't use to bother me but I've changed.
