I did fail on the watch deal since I don't wear one but I was able to dig up an old Timex and save myself. The other hazing I just ignored. It didn't hurt that somebody that refused to play by their rules was fighting them on it. It's their fire, so it's their rules.

I remember your attempt. That was hilarious. Yes they can be a little set on getting permission to enter but if you take the time to do it correctly you'll find some great guys and see some great stuff. But it's harsh. Those pussies on BBC wouldn't make it.

Beats me. Me and a buddy picked some up from a butcher in Sparta and that's where it was from. Guy said most of it came from there. when I was a kid one of my dads friends had a catfish farm. Big building full of tanks and pens out on his big pond for them to get eating size in. I loved that place because he didn't care if I when over to them in my float tube and caught a few.

If I was a conservative then I would still believe that this man is a goober. But I'm not a liberal either. I have two Russians that live down the street from me. They own a Security company. Have a big white van and everything. Really nice cars. Really nice motorcycles. Nice guys but their English is horrible. I call them the Russians. I have no idea where they are actually from or what they are doing. But they are "The Russians" and I like them. My wife says I'm stupid. And she's always right.

Take a look at the river levels. There is not enough water coming in to make a difference. We still need rain.

There have always been a bunch. Usually just big pods of them here and there. I used to stand in the water and hold the canoe while she made casts to them. Great memories. May have to scrap my plans for Monday and head down that way.

Nice report Ryan. There has always been a good population of spots from Kerr all the way down. One of my daughters used to be a spot catching monster from Kerr to Galena.

Speaking of coyotes I saw a nice one yesterday. It was beautiful. It was maybe 50 yards off the road with a fresh kill. Not sure what it was but it wasn't leaving it. I stopped and rolled down the window and whistled at it. It started to take off at first but then circled back around and just wouldn't leave. I really, really, really wanted to shoot it. But I did not have my camera with me.

I've fished and helped manage more farm ponds as a kid than anyone. I'm sure of that. But everything that we took was used or given to someone who would use it. Breaking the law is breaking the law. PERIOD. Just because people are too lazy to do the right thing. This would be like me saying that I don't like deer coming on my property and eating my flowers so I kill everyone of them and leave them where they fall. There is ZERO difference. My wildlife code is pretty simple. You kill it, you eat it. That's how I was raised.
