Good looking flies. Foam flies are awesome for smallies. I saw a gurgler in there so that's good. Probably the only topwater fly you need for smallmouth. But crease flies are awesome too. And Todd's Wiggle Minnows and just plain ol foam bodied poppers. Lots of things you can do with foam. Here are a few that have all caught fish. I always go back to the gurglers though.

Eventually the government would be dealing with Bundy whether this happened or not. He's been trying to push the government into a battle for a long time. This is just his most recent excuse. Try and do a little reading up on the situation. The gentlemen that are in prison didn't request Bundy's help. The people of that community want them to leave. This is nothing more than an asshat being an asshat. People that have respect for Bundy haven't done enough to inform themselves. I'm in no way pro government but just being a douche because you don't like something is ignorant. And gain, if it wasn't an election year or he was anything besides a white conservative then he would be dead or in jail right now. Just more political ignorance.

Probably another flop for them. They should really stick with what they know. And I'm a Nikon guy. But it's probably just a marketing strategy just like 4K on the GoPro. If you are shooting 4K to post it on Youtube you have just wasted resources.

It's crazy the numbers of them that are cruising the beach amongst the swimmers. They really don't care to bite you. A couple of years ago we were out boarding and a shark had been cruising back in forth just out past all the people. He made a turn and came in a little closer than usual and inevitably somebody spotted it and it and started running down the beach screaming SHARK! I had my GoPro so I tried to get in front of him to get a video. But every time I moved to a point to intersect he would turn out a bit farther. He had no interest in me. Then I went to the shore and chewed the people out who were still screaming shark. No need for that. Like I said, I've had two really come close to check me out at sunrise. Close enough to touch. And when both realized I was a person they were gone in a big hurry.

I agree with that. The first judge made a mistake but they should not be able to go back on that. But what Douchebag Bundy is doing by occupying federal property is doing nothing to help that. If he wanted to help he should have been spending his time raising funds to fight it legally. But like last time he just wants his name in the media. He's a loose cannon that will have to be dealt with sooner than later.

I care. I care that it took this long to get them out of St. Louis. I never cared for the Rams and it never seemed right that they were in STL. I did attend a few Rams games when they played the Chiefs or when my kids band played there. These were times before and after the Super Bowl win. Maybe I'm a little spoiled with the atmosphere in Arrowhead, but it never seemed that the Rams fans were into the game. The governor's cup? Yep that is something to treasure. LOL I don't think it would take much to create a fan base. You just need the right team in there. Stan Kroenke, who sure does go to great lengths to look a lot like Hitler, had no idea how to create a fanbase. He's in it for all the wrong reasons. I hope his life in LA sucks.

They keep scaring me. The last two years at Fort Morgan I have had close encounters with blacktips while fishing the surf. Both times they seemed just as scared of me as I was of them but they didn't leave as much crap in the water when they left.

You ask as many as you want. Everyone learns something when questions are asked. That's what this place is about, people helping people. Some people are above that obviously but they are still here learning aren't they.

Bundy is a douche and should take his douchey ways elsewhere. The people in the community don't want him there. The two guys that went to prison didn't want him there. He needs to go and take his band of losers with him. Or the government should treat them like they would if they weren't white rednecks. I bet if they were Muslim it would be over. But it was designed to be political so that's exactly what it will be.

Well yeah there are always things that come up and put you on your backup or you fish into a better plan. A run and gun approach does not necessarily mean that you are fishing the same type of spot and the same way all day. Hopefully it turns into a solid pattern and then you can really capitalize on it. But you also have to be patient. You don't gain anything by easily scrapping your plan. I've had some plans that sucked all day then turned on right at the last minute. Had I abandoned the plan that would have never happened. I will say that most of this success was on one body of water that I knew extremely well. But by spending all that time doing that I was able to recreate my methods on other lakes and increase my odds of having a good day. Everybody needs a style that works for them. What works for me might not work for you. It's a fun game.

Took the wife and girls to Silver Dollar City the Sunday before Christmas. First song I heard was Little Drummer Boy. I actually laughed out loud. My wife asked me what was so funny and I told her to shut her mouth and find me a funnel cake. On the inside. What actually came out was "Nothing dear. Where would you like to start spending my money".

It's not so much the fish cooperating as much as it is the right spots. I think what makes it a bad method for some is that they just think you run around without any kind of plan. Done correctly you know where you will be at any given time of the day before you ever leave the ramp and you stick to that plan. It's not as simple as everyone makes it out to be. You have to have the spots to make it work. Which takes a lot of practice and preparation. It worked well for me when I fished like that.
