It's always worse to see the blame game. Stupid really. It's the law you know, underage drinking. It's not something that people go to jail for until they are operating a boat or car, etc. Anyone suspected of driving under the influence should be arrested. That's the way laws work, you break them, you get in trouble. It's real simple. Underage drinking is not a right that you have because a lot of people do it. That's ignorance. And then you would be complaining about the Water Patrol not doing their job. So which is it? Should they be out there patrolling or not?

Seems like there was a special edition or something like that from the late 80's. early 90's. I remember seeing some with that crest on the side that were new back then but have no idea what they were.

The BPS reels are good but I would prefer a Lews. The company is owned by a local guy and he deserves the support.

Took an 8wt to Gulf Shores last year and had a blast with the ladyfish. Only used clousers but never had an issue hooking up with one each morning. We must have been down at the same time because the wind sucked. But it didn't matter to the fish. Fish the edges of the deeper cuts that run farther in and watch the birds. It's a blast. One month to go and I'll be at it again.
