  1. So you looked at it?
  2. Depends on the situation but yes I can. With a crank bait especially.
  3. I can't just have one. I have always had several at a time and now I have lots of them depending on the situation. Some baits come and go and some have remained on that list forever. I can't remember the first one, but I do remember the newest one, it came last to me last Thursday.
  4. Yeah it's not bad to know if the fish just aren't biting or if I really suck as bad as I think! I do like the quiet of that lake though.
  5. One of the best times of the year for bass fishing Stockton is during deer season. If you are in the woods you are missing some quality fishing. But I know that is hard to give up for most.
  6. I don't need reports to help me decide when and how to fish. Figuring it out on my own is most of the fun. Plus it keeps less people on the lake.
  7. Looking good ness. Now lets see you blow some paint on. Please don't mention that to me, I'm trying to get that out of my head.
  8. I'd rather Stockton keep getting little attention. Plenty of fish in it without the hassle of Table Rock.
  9. For the fish I like to catch its not the most efficient or even the most effective. But is sure is a hell of a lot of fun. It turns a fight with a 15" inch smallie into a pure battle. But it's not the easiest way to coax that fish into biting. I love it. But it's not for everyone.
  10. How about a shed.
  11. I like those little freaky red eye ones. That's a cool picture.
  12. I haven't seen one since i escaped Oklahoma in 1986. There are a lot of them down there. Been stung a few times but it was always my own fault.
  13. You didn't use enough gasoline.
  14. Awesome. Now I just need to find a one-legged nun walking a goat and I win.
  15. I wasn't picking on her or you. Just saying that my wife would not be a good pack mule. She's a great lady just not the outdoorsy type. Loves to float and hang at the lake but not really into fishing, never been hunting and at the first sign of a snake she is out of there.
  16. You might check into getting it repaired. I dropped one and the estimate to put it back in perfect condition was $125. It's a $500 lens. Check with Lawrence Photo in Springfield.
  17. I'd prefer to not be elite. Especially with the whole wife mule thing.
  18. I think a good start would be to send me all of his flies. You can pack them in one of those Yetis.
  19. I'm telling your wife you called her a mule.
  20. Full beard and stache. The small amount that I do need a razor for gets hit a couple of times a week with whatever pink leg razor is available. Shaving cream is optional and rarely happens.
  21. Well I hope they beat Florida. I will be with a Gator alum that day and it sure would be fun to harass him about it.
  22. I've had it 8 or 9 years so it's no beauty anymore, but it has character. Never had a problem with the hinges or the handles but the latch sucks. It's not like the old steel Coleman's where you could actually cinch them down tight. if you pull hard enough it will open. After that last trip my latch is officially fubar and I need to get a new latch. But other than the latch it works great. It's been dropped, hit with a car (thanks honey), floated down the river on it's own, drug around on gravel bars and beaches, my fatass has stood on it and it just keeps going. Yep you could probably crush it, but I never have so I don't think that's a issue for what I ask of a cooler. The latch is the only problem. And it's a problem that I live with because I love that cooler.
  23. Back in July I took a 3 day float on the Big Piney and it was hot. The 3 of us had our coolers loaded down with beverages, food and regular ice (not dry ice). After day one the other 2 were already low on ice but mine looked like I just filled it. After day 2 they had cold water with a few cubes. I was still going strong with the majority being ice. After day 3 they had cool water, I still had ice. And just like I usually do, I arrived home Sunday evening and just piled everything in the garage and went in to spend time with the family. After a couple of days I finally decided to clean up and put up my gear. When I dumped the cooler I still had enough ice to make a large pile in the driveway. So if you don't think you need to spend the money on a Yeti, but still want something that will hold some ice for a few days, there are other options out there. The Yeti can blow my Coleman.
  24. That would be awesome. Let me know when you get them and I'll bring the canoe up.
