    I just like to post pictures because I love to take pictures. Some don't like to mess with it. A good report with no pictures is fine. I'd rather see that than a good report with a bunch of bad pictures. I don't think about the size of the fish. As long as it's an interesting picture.

    I've used automotive clear on a rod before and it worked just fine. All modern automotive finishes are fairly flexible. But i don't think it's going to be very cost effective. The cost of automotive coatings is insane. It wouldn't matter if you did it yourself or had a shop do it, it would probably still be more expensive than just buying a rod that is already pink.

    I think you would have to create some demand for it. Not very many on here talking about it and just adding it to the list probably won't make much difference. If you can somehow get others on here talking about it then it would probably be easier to get it added.

    Thanks guys. Not really sure on the year of the reel. All the information I can find says they were introduced in 1935 but I have seen some listed as early 50's models.

    This is something I did for a good friend. The lure and reel belonged to his Grandad. The board beneath is from the home where his Grandmother was born. A large print is being acquired for her Christmas gift. On another note if anyone has a handle for a Plueger Summit 1993-L (pictured above) let me know. It's all this reel is missing.

    You boneheads have lost your mind. MDC confirms it but that's just not good enough for ALL of those that are so much smarter. People fake Bigfoot and UFO sightings to get some attention. Nobody cares about a lion sighting anymore. How do you know that something hadn't been coming in their yard every night. Maybe they decided to setup a game cam just to see what it was. Arguing over a game cam shot? You guys are sinking to a new low.
