For $50 you can get some racks that are removable. I was a little skeptical at first but they work fine.

You don't have to weigh when you can measure. You don't have marshalls at this point so who is making sure they don't just pull up to a cage and pull the fish out. Doctored measuring boards, caged fish, stringered fish, multiple boats combining fish, lead weights swallowed. Yep nothing is perfect. But you can combat the doctored measuring board pretty easy with an identifier in the picture.

Both the gurgler and pig are better river baits. And then even the gurgler tends to catch more small fish some of the explosions are crazy wild. It's not a bad one to cast in the surf either.
