    I have a buddy that "guides" on a deer ranch in south Texas. They have a hell of a time trying to control the population on that ranch and the surrounding farms. Last I heard they were getting 80 cents a pound for as many as they could kill and the meat was being shipped overseas. They have used guns, arrows, traps and in some cases just ran them over on ATVs. And more just keep showing up. But he said it gives them something to do and keeps them in beer money.

    I like it. I like the way the tail is splayed out. I keep them together coming strait out the back. Pretty simple tie except for having to wrestle those legs. Nice job.

    I've thought about it a couple of times now but I can't currently keep myself supplied with flies. Actually a good problem to have. I'll join the next one, hopefully a smallmouth swap.

    I was just harassing you. I went Saturday and only took pictures of a couple of fish. Carrying three cameras on the river and only took pictures of two trout. I can't please myself.

    I think the high one will be the person that pays $90 for a wiggle wart. Maybe I need to start selling some. I would lose that thing on the first cast. Guaranteed.

    Must be a small picture. But I agree with what you are saying. There are gangs of them in the James River that run 14 to 16 inches. Lots of fun when you run into them.

    The slop never bothered me either. When anti-reverse was the big new thing I bought one to replace my spinnerbait reel. That lasted about 3 casts. If I couldn't stop it then I couldn't fish a spinnerbait. I needed that extra slop.

    I had a lot of luck throwing that Silver Blue on Pomme de Terre a couple of years. Turns out they didn't care what color it was as long as the belly was orange.

    I would rather base my decisions on what's going to hold up rather than what's easier to return. If you can't make it through a full day of fishing then what does the warranty really matter.

    I don't think any of us truly know what's going on. But we should all be smart enough to realize that Bundy is a loose cannon. The boy has been looking for a gunfight for a long time and sooner or later he's going to get one. And it's going to SUCK. I feel sorry for the retards that are going to go down with him.

    Yes eventually the aliens will return for us. Those that are still alive will be taken to another planet to be enslaved I'm sure. I don't think it will be much of a vacation.

    Would like to see that if you have a photo. Prettier doesn't gain you a whole lot if the fish's eyes. That's why I'm normally just tossing an old beat up white gurgler. Easy to replace and they like them.

    It's just two pieces of foam folded over each other. Tie in the tail. Apply the foam to the bottom. and then fold it up and fold the top over it. It makes a huge plop and fish seem to like it. But the way the mouth is open makes it hard to pick up on a cast. Kind of need to throw a small roll cast at it then a quick backcast. It will make a big commotion without moving much, comes in handy at times.
