    There's a lot of cows in the river down below Galena too. Doesn't seem to affect this fishing but it's nasty. Some pretty good gravel bars down there covered in patties.

    Sorry Drew. I've fished on the lake a bunch and still haven't seen many caught. But I haven't fished the river like you are talking. I've been as far as you want to go up river in a bass boat and caught lots of bass but no muskies. But that doesn't mean they are not there. Sorry I don't have any more info or access recommendations. I've always wanted to get further up the rivers just never taken the time.

    I used to always wear a black Motorguide hat. Went through several of them and they had all turned brown before it was over.

    I've always fished the Pomme side with great luck. Never gave the Lindley arm much of a chance though. I don't think you can go wrong fishing any part of that lake. And there are big fish all over it.

    I'd rather just beat them unconscious with a paddle. Much more rewarding. Qualified? Probably not but that's okay cause I got a gun with the #'s ground off so they can't track me.

    Yeah I don't think I would be trying to float this weekend. You just never know what it's going to do. They have already moved a bunch of the high school football games to tonight because of the forecast on Friday.

    We left a dozen Krispy Kreme's laying out on a gravel bar one night. You would be surprised how much noise a bunch of raccoons make eating donuts. No animals, tools, gun waving jackasses or little bitches were harmed during the incident.
