    I had to have Twic card renewed in April in order to renew my Western Alaska license and in order to upgrade to a full domestic license. I did the 3 year renewal because of hearing about the possibility of doing away with the card. Sure is a lot of extra red tape to step through and a bunch of cash to put up for nothing in return.

    Pretty tough, but there are a few places to get out of the wind.

    There is a wing dam, so to speak of, just above the area that people will wade out on and fish off of. The gulls will also sit on it. It breaks the current along that area. Might be why they are there?

    Most are under 9 inches. Have caught some up to 11 inches.

    Wow! There have been some lost birds in the last couple of weeks. I know a buddy that got a surf scooter off Table Rock last week. Congratulations Scott!

    Yesterday I had cast parallel to the bank and into the wind, then use the trolling motor to ease into the wind and towards my jig in order to allow it to sink deep enough and still feel the bite.

    I did not go today. Stayed home and fried the ones I kept yesterday. Man o man, they were good.

    Fun season this year but I couldn't muster up an other hunt today. Chased crappie instead. 5-0 was a good one. Its been a long season. Thanks for sharing your hunts!

    I found about 35 of them today. Only 12 that were keeping size though. They were in the same place only deeper water today and it was tough to stay on them in the wind.
