  1. - Could somebody post a link please?
  2. Nicely done Alex! Sure looks like you know what you're doing to me.(fishing and editing/producing);-) - That's great to watch for those of us landlocked this time of year.
  3. Me and a buddy were talking; and he brought up Casey Ashley; which sounds like a solid bet to me. But I don't think A-Mart should be counted out either. - I don't think Evers head is quite in it; if he has other endeavors on his mind. - I would really like to see McClelland take it. - And Fish 24/7; you bring up a good point about using the cavitation plate and trim to help get you back in the boat. Although.........I recommend some people actually try it in some nice warm water first; it's not as easy as it sounds. Especially for some people who are not in decent physical shape. Transom design can really hinder things too. But certainly a last resort option!
  4. - I'm with you Alex; I was thinking some people put them in on purpose.
  5. As always, good info Dave! - This might make a good 'sticky' at the top of the Table Rock forum for a while?
  6. That was a fantastic post tpierce!.........what a great read. - Making memories with the little ones; that's what it's all about. He will always remember those moments, and learning good lessons along the way. Win-win!:-)
  7. Everything as stated above; and keep the rod tip HIGH! As it gets closer to the boat; you will notice the wake start to dwindle; then slowly lower the rod tip in relation to how close the bait is getting to the boat. Gotta pay close attention to the rod tip height and distance from the boat; you'll figure it out and keep slowly reeling.
  8. I'll guess the Tundra in FLW too.
  9. Great report and pix bill! Love me some stain reaction.:-)
  10. Great report ges! Awesome pix too;-).......that spots been to the buffet somewhere.
  11. - Nice pic their jimmy! - And I'll grab the tub of popcorn for the rest of this.:-)
  12. - I agree Dave; they coulda done a much more precise job of the autopsy. :-(
  13. Nice pix and good info jay! Just out of curiosity (if you don't mind saying) what part of the lake were you fishing? - Certainly don't feel like you have to give any details; I'm just curious to compare with other reports; if others are getting a similar bite lakewide.
  14. Yup, Dave's a rock star indeed! - Got my order in with him, but told him to take care of you fellas first; since I won't be down for another month or so.........can't wait!:-)
  15. - Truer words have never been spoken. Hiring a guide will exponentially save loads of time, headache, frustration and wasted money. Too many people think short term of the cost of hiring a guide; and don't consider the knowledge you gain by hiring one, that will be with you every return trip you make.
  16. You lucky dawgs who get on the water better post some reports and pix for those of us landlocked this weekend. Good or bad reports!
  17. This kinda made my head explode to see them cut this Romanmade open! - I thought it was interesting to see the weight system and different density wood plugs used. - http://www.tackletour.com/autopsyromanmademother.html - (Sorry it's not real Table Rock specific. Maybe I'll stretch a bit to get this more related to this forum........"Anybody ever throw any model Romanmades on Table Rock?":-P
  18. Just out of curiosity; is anybody seeing any green lens or amber (terra) lens of these available at any SAMs? - Ours just had the blue and the black lens; and my crappy eyes seem to prefer the amber lens. (Maybe SAMs only got the blue and black lens?)
  19. - No problem guys; glad others could take advantage of the savings too. - I've never been an expensive sunglasses kinda guy myself; so I figured at the price these are marked down too. Not a lotta risk. But for the money, I'll have to say; they're quite nice. They look kinda goofy on me; but I'm no Brad Pitt to begin with.;-P - - That's what I thought too Alex. If I don't like them; shouldn't be tough to get my money back from them if I'd like.
  20. As always Dave;well done.Especially nice to watch this morning with our windchill at a whopping positive 4 degrees.Takes me back to warmer days........:-)
  21. - I've only re-armed mine once. And it was pretty straightforward while following the instructions. But RPS brings up a great point about noting the angles and fold lines. I had to refold mine a few times to get it 'just right'; to lay nice and smooth.
  22. - I didn't think that the locations closer to water, might sell out quicker. Makes sense though. Cause most of the landlubbers up here around the city have no clue about polarized lenses. Which would explain why we've got a few left up here around St.Louis.:-(
  23. If I'm stepping on any toes here Phil; certainly delete this. No hurt feelings.:-) - But this was brought to my attention on another message board; so I thought I would share. - SAMs wholesale clubs have REVO Bearing sunglasses on clearance for $24.91 around the country. (In store only) - They retail for $189, but you can find them at online retailers for about $120. - I wasn't in need of new sunglasses; but for that price I thought I'd check them out. So my sis grabbed me a couple pairs yesterday at our local SAMs.(since we only have a Costco card) - Pretty darn nice for the price. We had about 10 pairs left in store up here in St.Louis.
  24. - I agree Dave; definitely seem to be hearing of it more and more! - - And I don't think they're necessarily 'suppose'tah' be in there..........but they certainly are. :-)
  25. Congrats snakem! Exciting stuff indeed and Bull is an awesome lake too.:-)
