Well, well, well...if it isn't Blackbeard of Beardsley himself.

It's on the fine print on the dock next to the dock permit, in plain view. Although I don't recommend getting close enough to actually view it. Read at your own peril (also in the fine print).

The cost of a yearly pass depends on your level of access. It is by invite only and also requires solid referrals from current members as well as a round of interviews with yours truly. Silver Membership allows you to fish Point 2 and the island at the mouth unsaid creek. You may look into the creek but not enter at any point. Gold Membership allows access to the entire unsaid creek but you are limited to using only cork and bobber with barb-less hooks. Platinum Membership grants access to the entire creek, gate/lock code to enter unsaid cove in unsaid creek and fish any type of tackle/bait. Diamond Membership allows everything the Platinum Members enjoy. Except, I turn off all my security systems thus guaranteeing that you are not harpooned, poisoned, electrocuted, bitten, infected or otherwise maimed in any way. **Any violations of the by-laws are reviewed by me. Membership can be revoked at any time with forfeiture of annual dues. Violators will be placed in the Code Red Club. As of right now there is only one person in this exclusive, yet abominable "Code Red Club". He knows who he is and I am currently working on installing EyePrint ID recognition scanners on my dock to keep this vile angler from his crankbait pirating and pillaging of my cove.

I appreciate you guys adhering to the confidentiality agreement in our "Creek Contract". M&M, just to let you know you only have 1 remaining admittance left on your yearly pass to unsaid cove. I also had the neighbor check the tip jar on the corner of the dock. It was empty.

I actually prefer Indiana or Colorado blades when I am slow rolling a spinnerbait deep. When the "grub scrub" pattern is going I will slow roll an old Mann's Classic spinnerbait with the tandem blades. Usually catch better fish than using a 4 or 5" c-tail grub.

Pic is small. Hard to tell. Turtleback?

Single gold Indiana blade? What trailer you got going on there? Looks like an old school yellow beetle spin body.

It's a total crapshoot. You can take some educated guesses but in the end you never know who is going to do well in any given event. Kinda like in real life fishing, you can go from hero to zero pretty quick and the other way around. Brandon Card on Day 1 of Ross Barnett was the leader. Said he just had a magical day where every spot he went to the first few casts he popped a 3-5lb fish. Had that 22+lb bag day one. The next two days he was below average because he didn't "luck" into some quality fish. There is NO WAY one can predict that kind result in fantasy fishing. I also took Chris Lane out of pool E as I figured Ross Barnett HAD TO BE HIS SLUMP BUSTER. NOPE. His sucking continues. Someone that is not getting beat up on for his poor finishes thus far, and I think is MORE shocking, is AMart. Guy is as good as anyone in the sport and he has REALLY struggled this year for whatever reason. He's too good to be 60th in the AOY race. You can't tell me that half the Elite field, including Boyd Duckett (58th in AOY), are better fisherman than the Hog Snatcher, Aaron Martens.

These sentiments by RPS, Vernon and others are completely false. Everyone knows that Johnny Morris makes any and all decisions regarding the COE and it's flood control plans. He does it from behind a green curtain and I have a pic of this past weeks proceedings. The following shot was sent to me from a highly credible source which I will keep anonymous. It is 100% legit and has not been altered, tampered with or poorly photo-shopped in any way.

934.24 and still climbing. Up .11 the last hour.

Don't act like you are throwing that tube on a baitcaster.
-
The real question is....why do you have so many rods on the deck when you know you are only using maybe 2-3 fairy wand egg beaters?
-
Nice report! Gotta love catching fish on your homebrew tackle. Nice stocking cap as well! When you catch a fish like that it's time to "Head for the Mountain's" and have a couple.
-
Nope. Just more persistent/nutty. Who else would continue to support a team/program/school that drives a person insane? Mizzou fans....that's who.

Link didn't work. This one should: http://ozarkthundermarine.com/otm-bait-tackle.html

Quit going "Iaconelli" and slamming your equipment on the deck. Or stop listening to Hog sports on the radio while having fishing gear in your hand. Sucks that happened to both in a matter of a week. Must be a defect for that to happen in the same spot and with the same amount of wear time. Glad Cabela's took care of you.

Last reminder to get those lineups set for tomorrows start at Ross Barnett. Had a few guys not enter a team at Toledo Bend. Looking at the % owned on each Elite in the field it's pretty spread out and a true toss up! Good luck gents and Donna.

Glad you got taken care of and back on the water....them Smallies.....not so much....

With your style of fishing who needs a troller? Just drop anchor and soak the lil' guy. Sorry to hear about the mechanical breakdown. Always a kick to the groin to deal with that crap while on limited vacay time. Nothing Super Dave can't handle though.......

4-22 dam area 4-23 big m and tackle question
abkeenan replied to fowlthing's topic in Table Rock Lake
Absolutely swap them if you see it being an issue on hook ups. Topwater, IMO, are the most important trebles to change out of all hardbaits. So often fish just blast it and don't get it. Either because they are just trying to stun it with a swipe or they are just uncoordinated and miss. Not sure which but changing out the trebles to a quality hook can make all the difference in the world. -
Didn't know you went back to the dark side and started using braid again.
-
Good deal Dave. Nice report. What, no Duke championship banners flapping off the back of the cowling of the Ranger? No sporting of a Bobby Hurley, Christian Laettner, Grant Hill, Mike Dunleavy or Shane Battier fishing jersey? Some fan you ARE.....

Hairless Cat-fish?
-
I only use 4 colors. PBJ, GP, WM Red and Canada Craw. As long as it's some shade of brown or green.....they'll eat it.

In the dam area that is just what you will do. Cast....retrieve....HOLD ON.....let me pull this green slime from my bait. At least that's how it was 10 days ago. Not sure if it is clearing yet or not.
