  1. We will just use yours then if that's okay. Maybe just include the league ID here on this thread and then request that people send you a PM (or me if you give me the password) in order to get the password in order be able to join the league. So we don't have a bunch of random people joining aka lurkers.
  2. It doesn't really matter I guess. Just lock your league to where it is not public. Make it private. We can just get a list of handles and the actual names of people participating. How many people are in your league as of now?
  3. Just wondering how many guys here do fantasy fishing on the Bassmaster website? I know that there has been a Ozark Anglers "league" in the past. If there are enough guys or gals that want to do it thought it might be kinda fun to get an OA league ONLY and the entry fee would be a single bait of your choice. At the end of season the losing participants mail baits to the winner or winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.). Nothing crazy, keeping it around $5 or $10 max. A pack of lucky senkos, a spinnerbait in your favorite color or something you personally catch fish at TR with that you send to the winner/s. Anyone interested? Elite season starts Feb. 9th so you would need to set up a team before that day before the rosters lock. I believe it is a 11 tournament schedule and filling out a team each tournament week takes but a few minutes. If enough interest is shown I can set up the league through Bassmaster Fantasy Fishing and you would just PM me for the League ID and password to get in. It would be an honor system that if you sign up and join the league you are committing to sending the winners the bait. Let me know, -Brett
  4. Well it sounds like you are putting in the time. Hard work always pays off. Keep up with it and glad to see that you are back on the water. As far as the hook incident sorry to hear about that and the expense. I think there is a slogan or selling point in there somewhere........ "4 out of 5 ER Doctors recommend using Dave's Prescription Strength Ned Heads".
  5. You training to getting back on the water or for the Mr. Olympia?
  6. SOLD.
  7. Got me there. Doh! Maybe I need to get you a jersey with an alphabet on it so I can learn to read and write. Also a buff to cover up your (red)neck.
  8. Right on. Didn't know if the BFL's did that or not. It made sense. Your version makes more sense.
  9. Dock Mauler?
  10. Brushy used to be good. I feel like the last 5 or so years it has just been hammered relentlessly and is not what it once was. Isn't a lure made that those fish haven't seen.
  11. I would guess that all the wrapped/power poll/jersey wearing boats are the FLW boys. Have their 150 boat tourny on Feb.25th and I believe they aren't allow to pre-fish inside of 30 days from tournament start. So this would be the last weekend they can get some time on the water in. Just a guess. Doubt the 30 boat Winter Series out of Mill Creek this weekend would cause that much of a disturbance down here on the lower end. As far as the tooth Bill. Next time you "go to town" hang a right, instead of a left, from UU and in 15 minutes there are plenty of teeth for free laying all over. Arkansas folk don't much care for teeth and are always loosing them.
  12. Not always, but typically if you are fishing live bait you aren't too concerned with fish care or the letters C&R. More concerned with the letter F's. Fryer. Freezer.
  13. Saw this in Bass Blaster today and figured I'd share since it has the evil A-Rig as named bait for the bag. That and the evil $25 MB 110's. Unnamed lake in Bella Vista, AR, Steve Meador and Rich "pop that bottle of" Champagne sacked 5 for 29.87 (2nd was 10 lbs less!). Two were over 7 and caught on a YUMbrella Flash Mob u-rig with Big Bite Cane Thumpers (disco violet and smokey ghost) with War Eagle heads, 25-lb Sunline Shooter and Falcon Cara rods. Other three were on a Vision 110 (pro blue):
  14. Never heard of a "rock roller". Could he be saying a rock crawler? That is a crankbait made by SPRO. If not maybe he is just talking about a bottom bait with a soft plastic on it. Chompers has the "rock walker" jig that a lot of guys throw with a hula grub. Possibly it could be that.
  15. Open to offers or perhaps trades.
  16. Wow Gabe, that's insane. I am surprised the weight of the motor didn't just pull out all the wiring and sink. A 150HP motor is in the 500lb range. I guess maybe the steering cables saved your friends bacon.
  17. You'll have to ask AC/DC.
  18. Hahaha. I've never thought about it like that. Makes sense.
  19. Champ and Vernon, since you will be the only two to open this thread.....check this out: https://www.mygolfspy.com/costco-suspends-k-sig-production/ Wonder what kind of leverage/threats Titleist and other big boys in the golf ball game made to get production to halt.
  20. This of course is excluding the Beardsley Branch. Nothing has been caught there in years. Anything to the contrary is in fact hearsay.
  21. This pretty much sums up my swimbait excursions. I like to think I can run a spread offense and have illusions of grandeur. But in the end I go right back into the two tight end power "I" formation I'm comfortable with after like 15 minutes of 0 completions with the big swimmers.
  22. It really is. That K looks to be about 13" and that gizzard if I had to guess is in the 7-8" neighborhood. Half or more of the boogers body length. I know fish eat those big gizzards but I just can never fully commit to throwing the big swimmers I have for more than like an hour.
  23. Nice report. Only see half a pic of port side of boat with no kentucky with shad lodged in their mouth?????
  24. I know I am checking the steering on the boat more often now!
